The Other Side of Mother Teresa

Roman Catholicism is a religion that does not teach the true gospel of salvation that is taught in Scripture. Therefore, its clergymen, and clergywomen, are not believers in the Jesus of the Bible. Jesus warned his followers of false prophets, and called them ravenous wolves. He said that they can be identified by their fruits.

Matthew 7

15   “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves.
16   You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles?
17   Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit.
18   A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit.
19   Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.
20   Therefore by their fruits you will know them.

The bad fruit of Roman Catholic clergymen is their damnable heresies, and where there is false doctrine there can also be found other bad fruits.

Mother Teresa’s refusal to accept food or drink (and her taking the money instead for the poor) is nothing but an affectation aimed at impressing the media (“Deifying Diana, an icon for India”, 5 October). She routinely travelled first class on planes. And a large amount, if not the majority, of the money she collected was spent on religious activities, such as on the upkeep of the hundreds of nunneries (which have no charitable functions) that her order maintains around the world.

Re-using old needles in her homes in India is normal practice (I speak as a former volunteer at her home for the dying in Calcutta), but she herself had treatments which only the richest Indians can afford; she also had treatment at exclusive clinics such as the Scripps at La Jolla, California.

It is true that she was not too well disposed toward actresses playing her, but it is also true that she appeared in at least a dozen documentaries advertising her faith and her “humility”.

The late Mother Teresa’s saintly image has been called into question by researchers conducting an in-depth study of her life.

Mother Teresa may have spent the vast majority of her 87 years looking after the sick and poor, but researchers from Montreal and Ottawa universities have now raised questions over the ‘dubious’ nature of her care, as well querying her “questionable” political contacts.

The researchers also raised concerns over the Nobel Peace Prize winner’s ‘suspicious’ financial arrangements, which they claim saw large sums of money transferred into her ‘secret’ bank accounts.

Writing in the Journal of Studies in Religion/Sciences after analysing around 300 documents surrounding Mother Teresa’s life, Dr Serge Larivie and Dr Genevieve Chenard say they have uncovered details that compromise the Albanian-born nun’s saintly image.

They claim that many of the ‘missions’ set up by Mother Teresa were unfit for their inhabitants, calling them ‘homes for the dying’ due to their poor hygiene and a shortage of food, care and medication.

The researchers believe a lack of money cannot be the reason for the poor conditions however, as Mother Teresa raised hundreds of millions of pounds during her lifetime, although much of that money apparently appears to have vanished into several ‘secret’ bank accounts reportedly kept by the nun.

The researchers also questioned why, despite openly offering prayers and medallions bearing depictions of the Virgin Mary, Mother Teresa provided no direct or monetary aid to victims of a number of natural disasters in India.

Dr Larivie says: “Given the parsimonious management of Mother Teresa’s works, one may ask where the millions of dollars for the poorest of the poor have gone?”

The researchers went on to query Mother Teresa’s politics and political contacts, accusing her of accepting a financial grant from the brutal Duvalier dictatorship, which is deemed responsible for the murders of over 30,000 Haitians between 1957 and 1986.

They also accuse Mother Teresa of spreading hardline right wing Catholic ideology, saying she held “overly dogmatic views regarding, in particular, abortion, contraception and divorce.”

Dr Larivie said that much of Mother Teresa’s saintly public image was shaped by the BBC journalist Malcolm Muggeridge, who shared her conservative Catholic views, particularly on abortion, and whose promotion of her led to the nun’s international fame.

Despite the negatives, Dr Larivie accepts there are many positive aspects to Mother Teresa’s life and work.

He said: “If the extraordinary image of Mother Teresa conveyed in the collective imagination has encouraged humanitarian initiatives that are genuinely engaged with those crushed by poverty, we can only rejoice.”

He added: “It is likely that she has inspired many humanitarian workers whose actions have truly relieved the suffering of the destitute and addressed the causes of poverty and isolation without being extolled by the media…Nevertheless, the media coverage of Mother Teresa could have been a little more rigorous.”

Mother Teresa died in 1997 and was beatified by the Catholic Church in 2003, leaving her just one miracle away from sainthood.

The Jesuit order was started in 1540 by Ignatius of Loyola, and it has been the most feared, and, hated, Roman Catholic order of priests, because it is Rome’s military, central intelligence agency, inquisitors, theologians, and deceptive philosophers, to the world. The Jesuit’s goal is to bring the Protestant church, and the world, under the authority of Rome. The order’s means of accomplishing this goal is pure pragmatism, and ruthlessness, as stated below.

The Jesuit Oath Exposed

[The following is the text of the Jesuit Extreme Oath of Induction as recorded in the Journals of the 62nd Congress, 3rd Session, of the United States Congressional Record (House Calendar No. 397, Report No. 1523, 15 February, 1913, pp. 3215-3216), from which it was subsequently torn out. The Oath is also quoted by Charles Didier in his book Subterranean Rome (New York, 1843), translated from the French original. When a Jesuit of the minor rank is to be elevated to command, he is conducted into the Chapel of the Convent of the Order, where there are only three others present, the principal or Superior standing in front of the altar. On either side stands a monk, one of whom holds a banner of yellow and white, which are the Papal colours, and the other a black banner with a dagger and red cross above a skull and crossbones, with the word INRI, and below them the words IUSTUM NECAR REGES IMPIUS. The meaning of which is: It is just to exterminate or annihilate impious or heretical Kings, Governments, or Rulers.

Upon the floor is a red cross at which the postulant or candidate kneels. The Superior hands him a small black crucifix, which he takes in his left hand and presses to his heart, and the Superior at the same time presents to him a dagger, which he grasps by the blade and holds the point against his heart, the Superior still holding it by the hilt, and thus addresses the postulant:

In the first place, you, as a Brother Jesuit, will with another mutually make the ordinary sign of the cross as any ordinary Roman Catholic would; then one crosses his wrists, the palms of his hands open, and the other in answer crosses his feet, one above the other; the first points with forefinger of the right hand to the centre of the palm of the left, the other with the forefinger of the left hand points to the centre of the palm of the right; the first then with his right hand makes a circle around his head, touching it; the other then with the forefinger of his left hand touches the left side of his body just below his heart; the first then with his right hand draws it across the throat of the other, and the latter then with a dagger down the stomach and abdomen of the first. The first then says Iustum; and the other answers Necar; the first Reges; the other answers Impious. Who received you? Answer: A venerable man in white hair.

How? Answer: With a naked dagger, I kneeling upon the cross beneath the banners of the Pope and of our sacred order.

Did you take an oath? Answer: I did, to destroy heretics and their governments and rulers, and to spare neither age, nor sex, nor condition; to be as a corpse without any opinion or will of my own, but to implicitly obey my Superiors in all things without hesitation or murmuring.

Will you do that? Answer: I will.

How do you travel? Answer: In the bark of Peter the fisherman.

Whither do you travel? Answer: To the four quarters of the globe.

For what purpose? Answer: To obey the orders of my General and Superiors and execute the will of the Pope and faithfully fulfil the conditions of my oaths.

Go ye, then, into all the world and take possession of all lands in the name of the Pope. He who will not accept him as the Vicar of Jesus and his Vice-Regent on earth, let him be accursed and exterminated.

The Jesuit oath provides a better understanding of the new pope, who was the head of the Jesuit order in Argentina. He was formerly known as Cardinal Jorge Bergoglio, and has taken the name of Francis, after St. Francis of Assisi. The significance of this new name can be directly linked to the pope’s Jesuit oath, because the Franciscans were highly influential in the Great Inquisition of the 13th century, as stated below.

Inquisitions against non-Catholic movements

The Waldensians were mostly in Germany and North Italy. In contrast with the Cathars and in line with the Church, they believed in only one God, but they did not recognize a special class of priesthood, believing in the priesthood of all believers. They also objected to the veneration (not synonymous with worship) of saints and martyrs, which were part of the Church’s orthodoxy. The complaints of the two main preaching orders of the period, the Dominicans and the Franciscans, against the moral corruption of the Church, to some extent echoed those of the heretical movements, but they were doctrinally conventional, and were enlisted by Pope Innocent III in the fight against heresy. As a result, many Franciscans and Dominicans became inquisitors. For example, Robert le Bougre, the “Hammer of Heretics” (Malleus Haereticorum), was a Dominican friar who became an inquisitor known for his cruelty and violence. Another example was the case of the province of Venice, which was handed to the Franciscan inquisitors, who quickly became notorious for their frauds against the Church, by enriching themselves with confiscated property from the heretics and the selling of absolutions. Because of their corruption, they were eventually forced by the Pope to suspend their activities in 1302.

What can be expected of the new pope is the carrying out of the social teachings of Rome, such as “social justice“, which is a form of liberation theology that was taught by a nineteenth century Jesuit, and cummanitarianism, which is a merging of socialism and big business with big government. This agenda fits perfectly with Alice Bailey’s world servers idea, as well as Reformed Theologians’ “Incarnational ministry“. All of which are consistent with Vatican II, and promotes the ideals of liberation theology, ecumenism, and humanitarianism, and are rooted in the social gospel’s promise of making a better world. This agenda can be expected of the new pope because it has been consistent with the teachings of the Jesuits for well over a hundred years, and the goal of the agenda is global governance.

These questions are important, because the average Christian is taught to think about the founding fathers, and the American revolution, as though both are rotted in Christianity. Many are also taught that Christian political activism, and its war against the dominate liberal culture of America, is their Christian duty in America.

A quote from Thomas Paine, one of the founding fathers, and the author of “Common Sense” and “The Age of Reason” proves that the claim of America being a Christian country, that was founded by Christians, should not be trusted, but further examined, because below is a clear, and bold, rejection of Jesus Christ, and the gospel.

The Age of Reason, page 111 & 112 –

It is not the existence, or non-existence, of the persons that I trouble myself about; it is the fable of Jesus Christ, as told in the New Testament, and the wild and visionary doctrine raised thereon, against which I contend. The story, taking it as it is told, is blasphemously obscene. It gives an account of a young woman engaged to be married, and while under this engagement she is, to speak plain language, debauched by a ghost, under the impious pretence (Luke, chap. i., ver. 35), that “the Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee.” Notwithstanding which, Joseph afterward marries her, cohabits with her as his wife, and in his turn rivals the ghost. This is putting the story into intelligible language, and when told in this manner, there is not a priest but must be ashamed to own it.*

*Mary, the supposed virgin-mother of Jesus, had several other children, sons and daughters. See Matthew, chap. xiii, verses 55, 56.
Obscenity in matters of faith, however wrapped up, is always a token of fable and imposture; for it is necessary to our serious
belief in God that we do not connect it with stories that run, as this does, into ludicrous interpretations. This story is upon the face of
it, the same kind of story as that of Jupiter and Leda, or Jupiter and Europa, or any of the amorous adventures of Jupiter; and shows, as
is already stated in the former part of the Age of Reason, that the Christian faith is built upon the heathen mythology.

How important is Thomas Paine?

Another founding father, John Adams, stated Paine’s importance in this way:

Without the pen of the author of Common Sense, the sword of Washington would have been raised in vain. ^[5]

In his book, “The age of Reason”, Paine openly rejected the gospel of Jesus Christ, and affirmed Deism as the true religion. Thomas Jefferson, and John Adams, were also Deists.

The founding fathers of America established the American Constitution, which many American Christians have been deceived by. The deception is the belief that God wants Christians, and the common citizens, to revolt against tyrants, such as the king of England, and anyone who tries to change the constitution.

1Timothy 6

Indeed, the founding fathers of America has led many Christians astray during the time of the revolution. However, they have been dead for almost two hundred years. Therefore, Christians are not being led astray by the founding fathers today. Instead, those who are still promoting the idea that America is a Christian nation, that was founded by Christians, are the real problem in the church. They must be corrected, because they are misleading, and confusing Christians throughout the church in America. Also, some, such as David Barton, Peter Lilback, and Kirk Cameron, have dedicated themselves to deceiving Christ’s church in America into following a false Christianity, which is a nationalist cult, which claims to be Christianity, but is really just a, dominionist, social gospel. According to Scripture, these kind of people must be marked, and avoided.

Romans 16

17   Now I urge you, brethren, note those who cause divisions and offenses, contrary to the doctrine which you learned, and avoid them.
18   For those who are such do not serve our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly, and by smooth words and flattering speech deceive the hearts of the simple.
19   For your obedience has become known to all. Therefore I am glad on your behalf; but I want you to be wise in what is good, and simple concerning evil.

The Catholic Calvinists Pt. 2 – John Piper

The Reformed Calvinist teacher, and internationally known author, and speaker, John Piper, has shown himself to have Roman Catholic tendencies. Piper is a former student of Fuller Theological Seminary, which has trained a number of emerging church leaders, such as Rick Warren, Tony Jones, and Rob Bell. The seminaries’ faculty has consisted of heretical teachers, such as it’s former president, C. Peter Wagner, of the New Apostolic Reformation, John Wimber, of the Vineyard Movement, and the universalist, Thomas Talbott. John Piper has also attended the University of Munich, which was known for being under the control of the Jesuit order, during the 16th, 17th, and 18th centuries, because it is one of their many tools during the Counter Reformation. The University of Munich is also the same college that the former pope, Benedict XVI, attended.

John Piper has shown his partiality toward Roman Catholic heretics, such as the mystic Bernard of Clairvaux, who was a major contributor to building the virgin Mary cult of Roman Catholicism, by listing Clairaux as a lover of God, and one of the most God-besotted people in the world. The quote above is taken from Piper’s book on “Christian Hedonism”, which is a perversion of both God, and the gospel. One of the origins for Piper’s deceptive philosophy of hedonism is, according to John Piper, the Roman Catholic heretic, Blaise Pascal.

“During my first quarter in seminary, I was introduced to the argument for Christian Hedonism and one of its great exponents, Blaise Pascal. He wrote: ‘All men seek happiness. This is without exception. Whatever different means they employ, they all tend to this end. … The will never takes the least step but to this object. This is the motive of every action of every man, even of those who hand themselves.’ This statement so fit with my own deep longings, and all that I had ever seen in others, that I accepted it and have never found any reason to doubt it. … Jonathan Edwards tied it [Pascal’s statement] to the Word of Christ: ‘Jesus knew that all mankind were in the pursuit of happiness. He has directed them in the true way to it, and He tells them what they must become in order to be blessed and happy’” (Desiring God, location 198, 212, 3761).

The Roman Catholic Blaise Pascal was a brilliant mathematician but he was also a theological heretic and a deeply confused man, spiritually. Though he attacked some aspects of Romanism, he accepted the papacy, the mass, the saints, Mariolatry, and veneration of relics. He was deeply influenced by the blind mysticism of Jansenism and he spent a lot of time in the convent where his sister was a nun and where Catholic mysticism was practiced.

In late 2011, Piper has also taught a form of Roman Catholic Mysticism, known as Lectico Devina Lite on his website, and removed it after a backlash of controversy.

John Piper also talks as though he believes that Roman Catholicism is part of Christ’s church, while also teaching that the pope undermines the faith of his followers. He does this by calling the pope one of the teachers of the church.

Nevertheless, God’s mercy is not a warrant to neglect or deny precious truths, especially those that are at the heart of how we get right with God. And the teachers of the church (notably the Pope) will be held more responsible than others for teaching what is fully biblical.

Thus, any church whose teaching rejects the imputation of the righteousness of Christ as an essential ground for our justification would be a church whose error is so close to the heart of the gospel as to be involved in undermining the faith of its members.

Piper has also made a public prayer on Twitter for the next pope, as though God might use the office of this age old enemy of Christ, the gospel, and the church.

The election of Pope Francis, previously Cardinal Jorge Mario Bergoglio, has resurfaced a decades-old controversy surrounding the kidnappings of two Jesuit priests.

Bergoglio was a high-ranking official in the Society of Jesus of Argentina when a military junta was installed in the South American country in 1976. According to the Los Angeles Times, priests Orlando Yorio and Francisco Jalics were kidnapped in May of that year by the navy. “They surfaced five months later, drugged and seminude, in a field,” the Times reported. A 2005 lawsuit accused Bergoglio of unspecified involvement in the abductions. Reuters explains that “the military government secretly jailed [Yorio and Jalics] for their work in poor neighborhoods.”

A spokesman for Bergoglio called the claims “old slander.”

“According to “The Silence,” a book written by journalist Horacio Verbitsky, Bergoglio withdrew his order’s protection of the two men after they refused to quit visiting the slums, which ultimately paved the way for their capture.Verbitsky’s book is based on statements by Orlando Yorio, one of the kidnapped Jesuits, before he died of natural causes in 2000. Both of the abducted clergymen survived five months of imprisonment.

‘History condemns him. It shows him to be opposed to all innovation in the Church and above all, during the dictatorship, it shows he was very cozy with the military,’ Fortunato Mallimacci, the former dean of social sciences at the Universidad de Buenos Aires, once said.

Those who defend Bergoglio say there is no proof behind these claims and, on the contrary, they say the priest helped many dissidents escape during the military junta’s rule.”

Per the Associated Press, “Yorio accused Bergoglio of effectively handing them over to the death squads by declining to tell the regime that he endorsed their work. Jalics refused to discuss it after moving into seclusion in a German monastery.” Bergoglio discussed the incident with Sergio Rubin, his authorized biographer.

“Both men were freed after Bergoglio took extraordinary, behind-the-scenes action to save them – including persuading dictator Jorge Videla’s family priest to call in sick so that he could say Mass in the junta leader’s home, where he privately appealed for mercy. His intervention likely saved their lives, but Bergoglio never shared the details until Rubin interviewed him for the 2010 biography.”Bergoglio testified about the matter in 2010 after twice refusing to appear in open court, but “his answers were evasive, human rights attorney Myriam Bregman said.”

A noted biblical apologist and expert on creationism is calling out several of his colleagues. An audience of some 300 people at the recent National Religious Broadcasters (NRB) convention in Nashville were socked to learn of the number of evangelical leaders who don’t believe in a literal 6 days of creation narrative.

At the recent NRB convention Ken Ham, president and founder of Answers in Genesis and the Cincinnati-based Creation Museum, gave a lecture entitled, “The Age of the Earth, Biblical Authority, and the Downfall of the USA.”

During his presentation Ham showed video clips of prominent evangelicals to illustrate how some modern Christian theologians are, what he calls, compromising the Word of God.

He believes in a literal interpretation of the creation account found in the Book of Genesis.

“I’m not attacking these people personally and I’m not saying they aren’t Christians or preach the Gospel or I don’t respect them,” Ham told Christian Press News. “I’m dealing with a particular issue that is important in which God’s Word is being undermined. Wittingly or unwittingly many of these famous Christian leaders are really undermining the authority of the Word of God.”
Ham mentioned, in particular, John Piper, founder and teacher of desiringGod.org and chancellor of Bethlehem College & Seminary, co-pastor of Saint Andrew’s Chapel in Sanford, Fla. Dr. R.C. Sproul and Mark Driscoll, founding pastor of Mars Hill Church in Seattle, Washington, as Christian leaders who have drifted away from teaching a young earth perspective.

“Many Christian leaders today will say ‘who cares what Genesis says and what does it matter about the age of the earth as long as you trust in Jesus. We need to go out there and preach the Gospel,’” said Ham. “But the point we need to understand is the Gospel comes from this book called the Bible and if generations of people have been led to believe they can’t really trust the Bible or lead to doubt that you can trust its authority or doubt its history – eventually they will reject the Bible and won’t listen to the Gospel.”
During a recent interview on the Bill O’Reilly show, Dr. Robert Jeffress, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Dallas, acknowledged his belief that the earth could have been created 13.7 billion years ago.

“I think it very well could have been,” Jeffress told O’Reilly. “One of the things fundamentalist Christians mess up on is they try to say the earth is 6,000 years old. The Bible never makes that claim.”

Ham denounced Jeffress statement maintaining the Bible makes no such claim that the earth is billions of years old.

“Pastors need to be told that when you do that, you undermine the authority of Scripture,” Ham said. “They are helping atheism by undermining the authenticity of the word of God.”

Little Horn Pt. 3

The kingdom of the “little horn”, which came after the rise, and fall, of Medo-Persia, Greece, and pagan Rome, which are the kingdoms of silver, bronze, and iron, of Daniel’s prophecy (Daniel 2:27-45), is the Holy Roman Empire. The capital of the empire is Rome, which has been known as “the city of seven hills” throughout history. The religion of Rome, which is Roman Catholicism, ruled over the empire, and was used by Satan as a weapon against the gospel of Jesus Christ, his church, and the Jewish people, throughout its reign. This religious persecution has killed approximately fifty million people by way of its inquisitions, and crusades against Jews, Christians, and everyone who refused to submit t0 the religion of Rome.

The religion of Rome carried out the work of Satan, according to Revelation chapter 12, by claiming to be the church of Jesus Christ, and converting the European nations to a false religion that contradicted the gospel of Christ. During this time, the Bible was outlawed, and to be found with a Bible was punishable by death. The false religion of Rome was a, mystical, sacramental religion, which claimed to continue the work of Christ by constantly atoning for the people’s sins, and even claiming that the priests were able to turn the bread and wine into the body, and blood, of Christ, without changing the appearance of the sacrament. In this way, Christ was to be continually offered, again, and again, for the people’s sins. This doctrine contradicts the warning from Scripture that teaches that Christ was to be offered once, and for all, for the sins of the people, and those who attempt to offer him up again cannot be forgiven, or restored to repentance. Therefore, this heresy of Rome serves to harden people to the true gospel, and prevent them from being saved by it.

Rome’s religion has not only redefined Christ’s atonement, but it has changed the gospel of salvation by God’s grace, through faith in Jesus, to a works based religion, which also prevents people from believing the truth. This is done by redefining the order of salvation, and justification by faith. The Biblical order of salvation, and justification by faith is stated below.

Election by God, the Father, before the foundation of the world (Ephesians 1:3-11).

Called, and drawn, by God, the Father, and taught by him, through the preaching of the gospel (John 6:44-45, Matthew 11:25-27).

Regenerated by the word of God, and the Holy Spirit (John 3:3-8, Romans 10:14-17, Ephesians 2:1-6, John 15:3, 1Peter 1:23-25).

Justification through repentance & believing the good news of salvation (John 6:34-40, Romans 3:19-26, Mark 1:15, Romans 10:6-13).

Sanctification through abiding in the teachings of Scripture, and not the Old Covenant law, nor man-made traditions (John 15:1-17, Galatians 3:22-27, Colossians 2:4-23, 2Peter 1:16-21).

Glorification when Jesus returns to raise his people from the dead to reign with him forever (1Corinthians chp. 15, Romans 6:3-8, 1Thessalonians 4:13-18, Revelation 20:4-6).

Rome’s false order of salvation does not justify sinners until the sinners have finished paying of their sins in purgatory, as seen below.

Baptism removes original sin from converts, and puts them in a right relationship with God.

Confirmation is when converts receive the Holy Spirit by the laying on of hands, and is also when they receive a patron saint into their lives, which is the equivalent of a spirit guide in occult religions.

The Eucharist is the sacrament, which is stated above, that converts partake of for the purpose of receiving forgiveness for venial sins, which are slight and pardonable sins.

Penance is confession of sins to a priest to receive forgiveness or punishment for sins.

Extreme unction is the anointing of dying converts for the purpose of preparing their souls for Heaven.

Cleansing by fire is purgatory, wherein the converts are to have their sins purged for an indefinite amount of time before entering Heaven.

Justification is when the converts finally is released from purgatory, and enter Heaven.

The religion of Rome has made its priests modern day pharisees throughout the church age by way of its false teachings, its hypocrisy, its exaltation of priests, and its greed.

Israel seems to have sold Jerusalem to the Vatican.

An historic agreement has been drafted between Israel and the Vatican. The Israeli authorities have granted the Pope an official seat in the room where the Last Supper is believed to have taken place, on Mount Zion in Jerusalem, and where David and Solomon, Jewish kings of Judea, are considered by some researchers, to also be buried.It is the culmination of a long campaign by the Catholic Church to regain religious stewardship over the place where Jesus is supposed to have broken bread and drunk wine with his disciples on the eve of his crucifixion.

This is an enormous issue pushed through without any public debate.
According to our sources, the agreement, which is expected to be ratified next June, gives the Pope a “special authority” over the second floor of the building, so that Christian pilgrims will be able to celebrate religious functions like Pope John Paul did in 2000.

The agreement constitutes Israel’s capitulation to the Vatican’s efforts to “Christianize” the holy site, like when a Catholic convent was built in Auschwitz.
The Catholic Church has long wanted control over part of the area on Mt. Zion so as to turn it into an international religious center for Catholics. The blueprint of the agreement reads as follows: “The Vatican hands over this use of the Cenacle to the Custody of the Holy Land which will keep the Cenacle open from 6 AM to 8 AM for the celebration of the Holy Mass”.
In the long term, the gesture will increase tensions between Jews and the large assets of the Vatican. The Church has long been working to reduce Jewish rights in Jerusalem and in the Old City. Now, after the Muslim Waqf authority expelled the Christians from the Temple Mount and turned it into a mosque, it’s the turn of the Vatican to lay its hands on the Jewish Jerusalem.
The Custody of the Holy Land, the Franciscan order who, with Vatican approval, is in charge of the holy sites, campaigns with the Arabs against Israel.

As far back as May 2000, Yasser Arafat met Islamic and Christian clergymen at the presidential offices in Ramallah to back Palestinian Arab sovereignty over Jerusalem. Among the clergymen who attended the meeting, Diodoros I, patriarch of the Greek Orthodox Church, Torkom II, patriarch of the Armenian Orthodox Church, Catholic Patriarch Michel Sabbah and officials from the Custody of the Holy Land.
“An official meeting took place in Ramallah, Palestine, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the State of Palestine”. This is the official note of the Vatican press office about the meeting between the Catholic officials and the PLO representatives which took place this week.
The Vatican is also asking that Israel hand over to the Vatican’s control dozens of sites, 19 in Judea and Samaria and 28 in Jerusalem. The Catholic Church want to discuss some properties on Mount of Olives, Har Hazeitim, which is the very history of the Jewish people. If you want to keep Jerusalem united, you have to keep Har Hazeitim. The Vatican knows that.
In 1989 charges were made by the Catholic authorities that Israel desecrated the Cenacle on Mount Zion. The charges, which appeared in the Italian bishops’ newspaper Avvenire, said that the Israelis put a memorial plaque on the roof of the Cenacle. The plaque was put in place after the 1948 War of Independence in memory of soldiers who fell in the Old City and whose burial place was unknown. Every year, the bereaved families cleaned the plaque.
Why did the Catholic authorities complain? Last year a similar charge was made from the Catholic authorities that Israel wants to “Judaize” Mount Zion.
Should the Vatican gain sovereignty over Mount of Zion, millions of Christian pilgrims will flock to the site, and this will threaten the Israeli presence in the Old City’s Jewish Quarter and Jewish access to the Western Wall.

The Vatican wants the Jews out of the Old City and apparently Israel’s government is agreeing with them. Turning the Cenacle into an active church is also a way of desecrating the holiness of the site known as the Tomb of David.
The Vatican and the Palestinian Liberation Organisation expressed a common position in the Basic Agreement of 15 February 2000, intended to support the recognition of a special statute for the City of Jerusalem. In the memorandum, signed by Vatican officials and the PLO, an organization dedicated to the mass deportation of Israel’s Jews, the Catholic Church wants Israel relinquishing sovereignty at the Western Wall and the Temple Mount. The Vatican-PLO agreement’s preamble on Jerusalem shows that the Vatican’s attitude on Israel’s capital is still stuck in the unforgivable anti-Semitic rhetoric of the 1940s.
Until 1948, Christian access to the Cenacle was severely limited, because it was used as a mosque. Since then, the State of Israel is committed to protecting the holy places of all religions, and guaranteeing the right of worship for all faiths.

But no Israeli government must tolerate any policy of division, “shared control” or “internationalization” that opens the door to a return to the Arab apartheid of Jordanian occupation between 1948 and 1967.

Jerusalem is not for sale. For thousands of years, the Cenacle area was almost always totally closed off to Jews.
Sovereignty over Mount Zion is politics, not only religion. The day after the Pope celebrated a mass on Mt. Zion in 2000, he went to Yasser Arafat headquarter to support the Palestinians’ right to return.

A few months later, the Oslo war began. And Jews were sacrified again on the altar of “peace”. It was their last supper.
This week, the Vatican in its official documents began referring to the “State of Palestine”.
