Chris interviews a special guest on the program today, a university student from Rwanda named Andrew Mark.  Andrew was just six years old when the Rwanda Genocide took place in 1994 and now shares insights into the politics and theology that drove this terrible tragedy.  What was the role of the Roman Catholic Church?  Did Catholic missionaries sow seeds of hatred among the people, and compel some of them to commit mass murder?

Radical Takeover Pt. 6 – Rome’s Support of Occupy Wall Street & World Bank

worldbank

Rome’s engineering of communism, and social justice, over the last 300 years, reveals the hidden agenda within its campaign for global governance. The popes desire to offer the world a peace & prosperity plan that appears to be for the common good of mankind, when it has nothing to do with peace, and common good, and everything to do with deception and tyranny. Rome’s approach to winning the confidence of the world is the “Hegelian dialectic”, which creates opposition, and chaos, so that it can offer a solution that appeals to both sides of the opposition; thus producing a third way, in which everyone agrees on a compromise that works in favor of Rome, which manipulated the conflict from the beginning.

Rome’s participation within economic conflict can be seen below:

WashingtonPost.Com

Does the Vatican’s new document calling for a “central world bank” and a “supranational authority” to advance the common economic good mean that Pope Benedict supports the complaints behind the Occupy Wall Street movement?

“ ‘The basic sentiment’ behind the protests is in line with Catholic social teaching and the new document on pope_in_cope_2global finance issued Oct. 24 by the Pontifical Council for Justice and Peace,” council President Cardinal Peter Turkson, said to the National Catholic Reporter.

But a debate over the authority of the document, and the requirement (or not) of Catholics to support it, is now being waged by some of America’s most prominent Catholic writers, scholars and activists.

You can read the full text of the document, Note on financial reform from the Pontifical Council for Justice and Peace, in the embed below. Among the findings are calls for:

The world’s peoples to adopt an ethic of solidarity as the animating core of their action

— A “world political authority” to manage “the growing interdependence between states and regions of the world becomes more and more obvious as well as the need for answers that are not just sectorial and isolated, but systematic and integrated, rich in solidarity and subsidiarity and geared to the universal common good”

— A “central world bank” that regulates the flow and system of monetary exchanges similar to the national central banks

Thomas J. Reese is a senior fellow at the Woodstock Theological Center at Georgetown University, and a former editor of America, the national Catholic weekly magazine.

The Vatican released a document on the world economy on Monday that will cause heartburn in the Tea Party, but will be cheered by the folks occupying Wall Street.

This will surprise most Americans who think the pope is a Republican because he opposes abortion and gaythomas reese jesuit marriage. But when it comes to economic justice, Pope Benedict XVI is to the left of President Obama. Heck, he is even to the left of Nancy Pelosi. Those who read the pope’s 2009 encyclical “Caritas in Veritate (Charity in Truth)” will not be surprised by this new document. In that encyclical, the pope decried “corruption and illegality” among economic and political elites in both rich and poor countries. He told financiers they must rediscover the ethical foundation of their activity and stop abusing savers. He wants a radical rethinking of economics so that it is guided not simply by profits but by “an ethics which is people-centered.”

Benedict notes that economic “inequalities are on the increase” across the globe. He does not accept the trickle-down theory, which says that all boats will rise with the economic tide. Benedict condemns the “scandal of glaring inequalities” and sees a role for government in the redistribution of wealth.

Yes, you heard that right. The pope favors the redistribution of wealth. When was the last time you heard a liberal Democrat use those words?

The pope also disagrees with those who believe that the economy should be free of government regulation. An unregulated economy “shielded from ‘influences’ of a moral character has led man to abuse the economic process in a thoroughly destructive way,” he writes. This has “led to economic, social and political systems that trample upon personal and social freedom, and are therefore unable to deliver the justice that they promise.”

Critics have complained that the Occupy Wall Street movement has no program. The people in the movement could do a lot worse than to study what the pope has said about the economy. Sadly, few Catholics know of the church’s teaching on economic justice, which has been called the church’s best-kept secret.

The pope does not have a magic plan to restore economic prosperity, but he does focus on the values that a political and economic system must support. The priority, he says, must be “access to steady employment for everyone.” And that means not just here in the United States, but also in the developing world, where we must rescue “peoples, first and foremost, from hunger, deprivation, endemic diseases and illiteracy.”

So if you are having a tea party, don’t bother inviting the pope; he won’t come. But if you see a white, solar-powered car heading toward Wall Street, it might just be the popemobile.

VATICAN CITY (CNS) — The world authority envisioned by two popes as a way to ensure global peace and justice would not be a superpower, but primarily a moral force with limited jurisdiction, Pope Benedict XVI said.

The pope made his remarks Dec. 3 to a plenary session of the Pontifical Council for Justice and Peace, which was scheduled to meet for three days to discuss the theme of “political authority and global governance.”

In his address, Pope Benedict recalled that Blessed John XXIII had called for the “construction of a world Pope-620x395community, with a corresponding authority,” to serve the “common good of the human family.”

The pope also cited his own 2009 encyclical “Caritas in Veritate,” in which he called for a “true world political authority” to ensure international cooperation, peace and environmental protection.

The church offers “principles of reflection, criteria of judgment and practical guidelines” for such an organization, but no concrete legal or political recommendations, Pope Benedict said in his address.

Yet the pope stipulated that the proposed body would not be a “superpower, concentrated in the hands of a few, which would dominate all peoples, exploiting the weakest.” The authority in question, he said, “must be understood, first and foremost, as a moral force, a power to influence in accordance with reason, that is, a participatory authority, limited by law in its jurisdiction.”

The council’s president, Cardinal Peter Turkson, told Vatican Radio that the agenda for the plenary session would include the topic of global financial governance as a response to the world financial crisis.

In October 2011, the council called for establishment of a “central world bank” to regulate the global financial industry and the international money supply as a step toward the world authority envisioned by Blessed John and Pope Benedict.

Pope Benedict’s address also touched on threats to human dignity from different forms of materialism in contemporary culture.

“The man of today is considered primarily from a biological point of view, or as ‘human capital,’ a ‘resource,’ a cog in a productive and financial machine that dominates him,” the pope said.

“New ideologies — such as the hedonistic and egoistic one of sexual and reproductive rights, or that of a disorderly financial capitalism that transgresses politics and dismantles the real economy — contribute to make the employee and his work seem ‘minor’ goods and to undermine the natural foundations of society, especially the family,” he said.

END

The conflict is capitalism vs. communism, and the compromise/”third way”, which is Communitarianism, which is a merging of capitalism & communism. Communitarianism is consistent with “Rerum Novarum – Catholic Social Teaching“, because it takes away from the individualism of capitalism by stressing the importance of  individuals being within, and contributing to the common good of the, community. The community that Rome has in mind is “the world”.

Glenn Beck Defends Gay Marriage

Glenn-beck

HuffingtonPost.Com

Glenn Beck has reiterated his surprisingly lenient stance on same-sex marriage in a new interview.

In a conversation with Penn Jillette, Beck stopped short of endorsing marriage equality, but nonetheless argued against government involvement in personal affairs.

“Let me take the pro-gay marriage people and the religious people,” he said. “I believe that there is a connecting dot there that nobody is looking at, and that’s the Constitution.”

He then noted: “The question is not whether gay people should be married or not, the question is why is the government involved in our marriage?”

It’s not the first time the author and former Fox News host has expressed a less-than-rigid view of same-sex marriage. In 2010, Beck told Bill O’Reilly that he didn’t believe allowing lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) couples to tie the knot posed much of a threat to the country.

Beck even quoted Thomas Jefferson in his argument: “If it neither breaks my leg nor picks my pocket, what difference is it to me?”

2Timothy 3

1    This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
2    For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
3    Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
4    Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
5    Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

Psalm 1

1    Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
2    But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.
3    And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
4    The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away.
5    Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.
6    For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.

Changing Laws Pt. 12 – Honor Killings

The Huffington Post

ISLAMABAD — A Pakistani couple accused of killing their 15-year-old daughter by pouring acid on her carried out the attack because she sullied the family’s honor by looking at a boy, the couple said in an interview broadcast Monday by the BBC.

The girl’s death underlines the problem of so-called “honor killings” in Pakistan where women are often killed for marrying or having relationships not approved by their families or because they are perceived to have somehow dishonored their family.

The girl’s parents, Mohammad Zafar and his wife Zaheen, recounted the Oct. 29 incident from jail. The father said the girl had turned to look at a boy who drove by on a motorcycle, and he told her it was wrong.

“She said `I didn’t do it on purpose. I won’t look again.’ By then I had already thrown the acid. It was her destiny to die this way,” the girl’s mother told the British broadcaster.

Horrific stories, such as this one, is reported by the media throughout the western world for a specific reason. That reason is to demonize Islamic countries, so that the West will not perceive western expansion as imperialism, but instead, as a noble attempt at achieving peace and unity under global governance. This can be seen in the following links entitled “Parents Arrested for ‘Honor’ Killing Daughter With Acid“, “Changing Laws Pt. 7 – The Growing Problem & the Horrific Solution” and “Thesis – Antithesis – Synthesis Pt. 1 – Islam“.

Western expansion is not for the good of mankind, and the mainstream media is a tool for social engineering, and therefore, cannot be trusted. In order to be free of the mind control of elite globalists, one must find truth, which is not broadcasted by the mainstream media. Truth is found in the word of God, and truth is a person – the Lord Jesus Christ. He promised give the light of truth to everyone who learns from him, and to free them from their sins. He does not promise peace to this world, but the sword of division, and the destruction of this world’s system. Therefore, to escape the coming destruction of this sinful world, one must turn away from sin, and place one’s trust in him.

Their is killing that will bring honor, but it is neither the tyrannical murder of Islam, nor the deceptive peace killings of global governance, but it is the return of Jesus Christ, who will judge this world in righteousness, and bring everyone before him to give an account for their evil deeds.

Mark 1
15 The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.

War on Consciousness Pt. 21 – The Jesuits & The Gay Rights Movement

Roman Catholicism takes an official stance against homosexuality, and gay marriage. Nevertheless, its dominate Jesuit order, has been outspoken in its promotion, and advocacy for homosexuality, and gay marriage. In this way, Rome can be seen on both sides of the struggle that deceives many conservative Christians into partnering with Rome as they fight against the, so-called, “common enemy” that Rome claims to have. The whole while, conservatives do not take the time to realize that their, Roman Catholic, allies  are also on the other side fighting against them. Neither do these Christians stop to remember the claim that says “many homosexuals are the result of child molestation”, and one of the oldest institutions that molests children is Roman Catholicism. Therefore, the conservatives’ partner within the cultural crusade to reclaim the nation for God, is actually one of the chief producers of homosexuals.

National Catholic Reporter

With the United States Conference of Catholic Bishop’s very public battle against same-sex marriage and the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith’s recent condemnation of Mercy Sr. Margaret Farley’s sexual ethics book, Just Love, it seems hard to remember a time when the Roman Catholic Church wasn’t fixated on LGBT issues.

In “Taking a Chance on God,” Irish-born filmmaker Brendan Fay reminds us that not only is this struggle relatively new in church history, but the momentum behind the movement began with one courageous priest and his groundbreaking book.
The film offers a portrait of John McNeill, the Jesuit priest who was silenced in 1977 for his book The Church and the Homosexualand, nine years later, was expelled from his order for refusing to stay silent in his ministry to gay and lesbian Catholics.

The film had its New York City premiere this weekend as part of the 40th anniversary celebration of the New York chapter of Dignity USA, a community McNeill helped found. The film includes a number of insightful interviews from fellow priest activist Dan McCarthy, theologian Mary Hunt, openly gay priest Bernard Lynch, gay rights activist Ginny Appuzzo, and the late activist Jesuit Fr. Robert Carter.

Fay’s documentary offers a full depiction of McNeill’s life as well as a window into the gay struggle for liberation in both church and society amid the terrifying backdrop of the AIDS crisis. Two sections of the film are particularly powerful: McNeill’s calling to the priesthood and his calling forth out of the silence imposed on him by the Vatican.

Loyola Marymount to Promote Gay “Marriage,” Cancels Fundraiser

Responding to concerns raised by The Cardinal Newman Society, Loyola Marymount University (LMU) has stopped describing a campus performance on September 7 as a fundraiser for the gay-rights organization that is challenging California’s ban on same-sex “marriage.”

But LMU appears to be pushing forward with the event, featuring a student and faculty reading of the play “8” which promotes gay “marriage.”

The two organizations that were to receive donations are the American Foundation for Equal Rights (AFER) and Broadway Impact, which together have licensed readings of the play “8” at colleges and other venues nationwide.  AFER is fighting in federal court to overturn California’s voter-approved ban on same-sex “marriage,” and the case is now headed to the U.S. Supreme Court.  Broadway Impact is an organization of actors, directors and playwrights to promote same-sex “marriage.”

As of Monday, LMU’s online calendar and the website of its Office of LGBT Student Services promoted the event as a fundraiser for AFER and Broadway Impact.  The director of LGBT Student Services, Anthony Garrison-Engbrecht, was identified as the organizer.

Former NFL Commissioner Paul J. Tagliabue and his wife, Chandler Tagliabue, have donated $1 million to Georgetown University for the creation of a new program to assist LGBT students.

In a statement released on Oct. 26, the university said the gift will establish the Tagliabue Initiative for LGBT Life: Fostering Formation and Transformation, which will be overseen by Georgetown University’s LGBTQ Resource Center.

The LGBTQ Resource Center, the first such center at a Catholic university, opened on the Georgetown campus in 2008.

“The Center is inspired by Catholic and Jesuit principles of respect for the dignity of all and education of the whole person, and we are very pleased to support its services that provide a safe, inclusive and respectful environment for LGBTQ students and promote their acceptance in the entire campus community,” the Tagliabues said in the statement.

The Rev. Robert Carter, who in the early 1970s was one of the first Roman Catholic priests in the country to declare publicly that he was gay and who helped found the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force, died Feb. 22 in the Bronx. He was 82.

His death, at a Jesuit health care facility, was confirmed by the Rev. Thomas R. Slon, executive assistant to the provincial of the New York Province of the Society of Jesus.

Father Carter’s coming out was a very public one. In October 1973, Dr. Howard J. Brown, a former New York City health services administrator, announced that he was gay and that he was forming a civil rights organization for homosexual men and women. Then called the National Gay Task Force, it later became the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force.

Mitt Romney: ‘We’re All Children of the Same God’

ChristianNews.Net

Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney made reference to a universal god during Wednesday night’s presidential debate via a single statement not particularly related to the debate issues at hand.

“We’re a nation that believes that we’re all children of the same God,” Romney said.

He had referred to the Constitution just moments prior, noting that Americans are “endowed by their Creator with unalienable rights,” and that among them include happiness. Romney was advising the audience that he wanted people to have happy lives by living successfully in America.

Romney’s wife Ann, who was present in the audience, had made a similar statement in a previous speech.

“We are all children of the same God, and we have to come together to solve our problems and not be fighting so much,” she said.

Religious Intolerance & Blasphemy laws Pt. 7 – Freedom of Speech (just watch what you say)

The Blaze

“The future must not belong to those who slander the prophet of Islam but to be credible those who condemn that slander must also condemn the hate we see in the images of Jesus Christ that are desecrated or churches destroyed or the Holocaust that is denied,” Obama proclaimed.

This is Obama’s final international address before the November elections — one that critics were playing close attention to. Former U.S. ambassador to the U.N., John Bolton, had some stinging words for the president on Fox News this morning. When asked to grade the speech, he gave it a C.

“It was like a great big warm fuzzy blanket. The president comes out in favor of tolerance. There’s your breaking news,” Bolton quipped. “The problem with the speech was that it was infused with the fallacy of moral equivalency — that there‘s sort of extremism and intolerance everywhere and it’s all the same.”
