This court case is further proof of the United States government invasion of parental rights, since its courts should not pass judgments over such matters. However, it also demonstrates the people’s willingness to be ruled over to such an extreme degree for the purposes of getting whatever they want, regardless of the contradiction of sound ethics, and its impact on the rest of the country. Selfishness leads a nation down a loathsome path.
