Authors of Confusion Pt. 9 – Kirk Cameron & His Monumental Work of Confusion

The acting career and preaching ministry of Kirk Cameron has been well received by Christians over the years. With movies such as “Left Behind”, and his television ministry, “Way of the Master”, Kirk has won the hearts of Christians throughout the country. His work has been a success in inspiring, and building up believers in their faith. However, Kirk’s latest film, “Monumental”, is taking a different, and confusing turn that is upsetting quite a few Christians. Yet, this change in Kirk agenda may reveal his own beliefs that have not been discussed over the last 13 years.

To better understand this change in theology and agenda that Kirk is currently displaying in the media, let’s first take a look at his theology, and how it has played out over the years. The photos below are links that further explains the comments written under them.

Here Kirk has affirmed the true gospel of faith in Christ, repentance, self-denial, and godliness.

Kirk has exposed the false gospel of Mormonism.

Through his leading role in the “Left Behind” films, Kirk has even affirmed the biblical belief that the world will be brought under God’s judgment, and that only Christ’s return to earth will bring about a world ruled by righteous judgment.

However, it seems that there has recently been a change in Kirk’s doctrine, that has also changed his agenda.
The change is in his refusal to live according to the belief that the world is under God’s judgment for its sins, by promoting the idea that America can be saved from its moral decay. Therefore, he is trying to convince Christians that they can reclaim America for God, which is part of the belief system of the American social gospel.
Kirk’s reason for this decision is so that his daughters will have a better future in America when they are adults. However, this idea contradicts what Jesus said about the fate of the world until he returns (Matthew 24).
Kirk is now willing to partner with false believers such as Glenn Beck, who is a Mormon, and David Barton, who is a historical revisionist that tries to deceive people into thinking that America’s founding fathers were devout Christians.

Kirk is even willing to promote the false claims of David Barton, who has already been exposed as a liar, and a historical revisionist.

The result of Kirk’s recent changes in theology and agenda will be confusion for those who believe everything that he teaches. For example: Kirk has taught the true gospel of faith in Christ, repentance, self-denial, and godliness. Now he’s teaching the social gospel of national salvation through political and cultural reform that falls in line with the American dream; in particular, liberty, which leads to liberation theology that teaches that Christians are allowed to take up arms against their government.

Another example of the confusion that Kirk is causing is the belief that Christians must only affirm the Christ of the Bible, and the gospel message as is taught in the Bible. Kirk’s partnership with Glenn Beck, who is a Mormon goes against these two fundamental doctrines, since Beck does not believe in the same Jesus that is described in the Bible, instead he believes that Jesus is Satan’s brother. That is a false god, and the equivalent of an idol. Therefore, Beck is not a believer, but an idolater. Furthermore, Beck does not believe in the gospel of salvation as is described in the Bible. Instead, he believes in his ability to work for his salvation, and that faith alone cannot save him (Ephesians 2:8-9). The Bible forbids this kind of partnership.

1Corinthians 5
11    But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an **idolater**, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat.
12    For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do not ye judge them that are within?
13    But them that are without God judgeth. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person.

2Corinthians 6
14    Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
15    And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?
16    And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
17    Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,
18    And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.

To be led by Kirk is to be led into confusion,  because there is now a gross inconsistency in his teaching and example. Also, his partnership with deceivers, such as David Barton, teaches God’s people that nothing is seriously wrong with working with teachers who bear bad fruit. However, this belief will come at the cost of leading people into not knowing who should be rejected because of their bad fruit,  because if Kirk accepts certain false teachers, then why should any false teacher be rejected?

Glenn Beck – The Mormon
2John 1
8    Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward.
9    Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.
10    If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed:
11    For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.

David Barton – The Church’s Deceiver
Matthew 7
13    Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
14    Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
15    Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
16    Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
17    Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
18    A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
19    Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
20    Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
21    Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
22    Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
23    And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

The conclusion of the matter is this: Kirk has done plenty of good in the pass, and should be recognized for it, but now that he is partnering with the same people who Scripture has told the church to stay away from, Christians must now stay away from Kirk, who is now engaged in a monumental work of confusion.

Ecclesiastes 12
13    Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.
14    For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.
1John 2
3    And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.
4    He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
5    But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.

War on Consciousness Pt. 3 – The Monumental Promotion of the “Social Gospel”

Part of the “war on consciousness” is the promotion of the social gospel by the media. This false gospel gives people a false hope, which claims that they can make a better neighborhood, city, country, or world. It teaches Christians that Jesus came to commission his church to reclaim the culture. It even teaches that America is a Christian nation, that was founded by Christians, when it was actually founded by Freemasons, who claimed to be Christians.

The goal of the media’s promotion of the social gospel is to cause Christians to believe that God wants them to claim their nation for God through political, social, economic, and cultural reform. In fact, this was the reason for the sculpture of the memorial to the founding fathers; to remind Americans of their “God given duty” to uphold the Christian principals which the nation was founded upon. However, did these “Christian principals” produce liberty and justice in the founding and expansion of America?

America was both founded and expanded through theft and murder. The theft was the land that belonged to the many native American tribes, and the murder was that of these same native Americans. This was not Christian love, nor was it the godly justice of a Christian nation. On the contrary, it was invasion and tyranny, followed by the mass enslavement of Africans, who were taken from their home land against their will, and stripped of their nationality, culture, and language; all for the sake of serving in their tyrannical masters to the day of their death. Therefore, to label America’s origins as Christian, is to put a false label on the country.

The social gospel has both founded and inspired our nation’s actions throughout its short history. It was through the ideals of the social gospel that the colonists agreed to revolt against Britain, and found their own nation. It was through the ideals of the social gospel that the South held onto the lost cause of the confederate army and terrorized freed blacks. It was through the social gospel that the American army, and the pioneers of the West, slaughtered the Native American tribes; calling it “progress” for the nation, and “manifest destiny”. It was through the social gospel that the industrialists justified their stranglehold on the nation’s economy, while their employees were paid a barely livable wage. It was through the ideals of the social gospel that the progressive era brought about social reform in the country. It was through the ideals of the social gospel that the civil rights movement united the country against racial injustice. It was through the ideals of the social gospel that Christian liberals have promoted a user-friendly, humanitarian, hippie-Jesus for the purpose of reclaiming and reforming culture, and for selling Christianity as if it were more of a product to purchase, and an ideal to buy into, than it is the good news from Heaven to reconcile sinners to God, and to save them from the wrath of God.

The social gospel is a false Gospel that teaches the false hope of making a better world. This better world is one of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. The social gospel teaches that mankind can have a reign of peace and freedom from tyranny before Christ returns to set up his kingdom of Heaven. It will even teach that this present reign of wickedness is, in fact, the reign of Christ on earth, and it is for Christians to fully manifest this truth through social, political, economic, and cultural reform. In short, the social gospel promotes an earth-based & works-based salvation.

The “God in Government Movement”, for example, is a campaign for cultural and political reform for the sake of “saving the country”. Although the rhetoric of this movement sounds convincing to many, there is no Scriptural basis for this cause, and their hope for political and cultural reformation for the glory of God, contains doctrine that goes directly against the Bible’s teachings on humanity and sin (Romans 8:4-8 & John 8:34). God does not call a nation to be his holy people, instead, he calls the peoples of this world to come out from the world, and into his church, and it is his church that is the holy nation and royal priesthood (1Peter 2:9-11). Yet, the media is telling Christians that it is the government and the culture that Christians are called, by God, to sanctify.

For example: the “Monumental” documentary strengthens this false hope for political and cultural  reform by claiming that the monument to the founding fathers is a Christian sculpture that was made to remind the nation of it’s Christian roots. The film does this by merging the ideals of the Puritans with the rebellion of the founding fathers, which is misleading, since the Puritans didn’t endorse rebellion against Britain. The imagery of the sculpture is also a merging of Puritan Christian beliefs with the ideals of Freemasonry. This came be seen by the goddess figure, who is supposed to represent faith, since her hand is pointing to the sky, while the other is holding a Bible. This figure is not a representation of true biblical faith, but a goddess of Freemasonry, since it has the five pointed star of Venus-Luciferus, which is an occult symbol for Satan. The statue also has a god-like figure that symbolizes victory over tyrants, and implies that this victory over tyrants brings peace, but according to Scripture, Christians do not have the right to take up arms against their government (Romans 13:1-3). In fact, Scripture teaches that rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and that Satan was the original rebel (1Samuel 15:23 & Isaiah 14:12-19).

Another example of this deception in the media would be the “The Abortion Matrix” documentary, which tells people that there is hope for restoring the cultural decay of the nation; starting with the effort of abolishing abortion. The documentary makes a convincing case through its historical account of paganism, and God’s judgment on the nations of the world that practiced it. However, its social gospel of cultural and political reform simply isn’t realistic since the Christians are vastly out numbered by the world, which is under the control of the spirit of antichrist.

The social gospel is also promoted by the media through the “Truth Movement”, which is a movement that both studies and exposes the conspiracies within the governments of western civilization. The Christian side of the movement tends to affirm the social gospel agenda by telling Christians that it is their responsibility to resist the changes in their governments, as if they were able to. This message is actually contradictory to their claims that these government conspiracies are the fulfillment of biblical prophecy, since Bible prophecy cannot be altered by the will of man; the end will come regardless of human interference. This false hope can be clearly heard in the “Fuel Project; Know Your Enemy“.

Christian liberals, such as Tim Keller and Andy Crouch, also promote the social gospel within their lectures, blogs, and books. They clearly teach that the work of the gospel is making a better world, and go as far as to take Scripture out of context for the sake of promoting their false hope of cultural reform. Their teaching has cause those who did not understand the Christian faith to have a wrong understanding of Jesus and the gospel. These liberal teachers are not teaching the importance of turning from sin, escaping the corruption of this sinful world, believing the gospel and striving to enter the narrow gate that leads to eternal life. Instead, they teach of a hippie-Jesus, which is a false Christ, and the good news of making a better world.

The name of this liberal movement is “Incarnational Ministry”. It confuses the doctrine of Christ’ atonement, and his teachings on why he came into the world. Instead of teaching that Christ came to earth to save sinners from their sins and from the wrath of God (John 3:16 & John 6:26-29), they neglect this doctrine by teaching that Christ wants Christians to follow his example of doing good for others, such as feeding the poor, and healing the sick. However, the example that Jesus taught very clearly to his disciples was that of proclaiming the gospel, making disciples, and taking up their cross of holy living and persecution to the death (Matthew 16:24-27 & Matthew 28:19-20).

The “war on consciousness’s” monumental promotion of the social gospel has made the media to be as poison to Christians by its presentation of false hopes. The result of this war will be that of a church that does not understand the gospel, and is led by the nose by the media personality of their choosing, who appeal to Christians’ earthly desires. God’s people are to flee from this confusion and not follow the “herd” to disaster. To listen to the media personalities will only lead to heresy, but abiding in Christ will equip God’s people to stand against falsehood, discern truth from error, and to live holy lives.

Psalm 119
9    Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed thereto according to thy word.
Hebrews 5
12    For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.
13    For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe.
14    But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

Authors of Confusion Pt. 8 – Mark Driscoll’s “Cultural Relevance”

The Christian World View – “Being “relevant” to your audience is the big buzzword in Evangelical and Emergent churches today.  Whether it’s dressing down to look like “one of them” or playing “edgy” music or using Hollywood movies as sermon examples or preaching “30 days of sex with your spouse”, being relevant and “contextualizing” your message is seen to be as important as sound doctrine (if that’s important anymore).

One of the more curious examples of this rush towards relevance is Mark Driscoll, popular author and preaching pastor of Mars Hill Church in Seattle that attracts 7500 attendees to seven church locations each week and who also has an enormous following world-wide.  Why Driscoll is a “curious case” is that he describes himself as “Emerging Reformed” which I would define as sort of merging Reformation theology with urban culturalism.  So what’s the big deal?” To find out, click on the provided link entitled “When Relevance Becomes Irreverence

Mark Driscoll is on the conservative side of the Emerging Church Movement. This movement is rooted in heresy, because of its ecumenical theology, which blurs the lines of orthodoxy and heterodoxy; thus placing its adherents on the slippery slope to Universalism – embracing all faiths as a means to salvation. This can be seen in Mark’s recent acceptance of T.D. Jakes, who teaches the false gospel of prosperity, as a true believer, and a biblically sound teacher of the faith. This acceptance also makes Mark Driscoll, not only a deceiver, but an author of confusion, since he publicly exposed the prosperity gospel for the heresy that it is, as seen in this link entitled “Driscoll and the Elephant Room“.

Driscoll is not only a heretic that causes confusion in Christ’ church, but he also promotes lewdness within his sermons, and has even posted a link to a “Christian” sex toy shop on his church’s website, as seen in the provided link entitled “Question #22: Can we use sex toys?“.

If all of this were not bad enough, Driscoll’s blasphemous view of Christ is expressed even further through his irreverent description of Jesus, as depicted in his book entitled Vintage Jesus. Below are excerpts from pages 43&44.

In the first chapter of Mark, Jesus starts off by yelling at complete strangers to repent of their sin, like the wingnuts with billboards who occasionally show up at shopping centers. Shortly thereafter, Jesus orders some guys to quit their jobs and follow him, and before long Jesus is telling a demon to shut up and healing a leper only to tell him to shut up too. In the second chapter, Jesus picks a fight with some well-mannered religious types and does the equivalent of breaking into a church on a Sunday morning to make a sandwich with the communion bread because he was hungry.

In the third chapter, Jesus gets angry and also grieves and apparently needs Praxil. Then he ignores his own mom, which threw Focus on the Hebrew Family into a tizzy, so they quickly issued a position paper renouncing his actions. In the fourth chapter, Jesus rebukes the wind, which caused an uproar with the local pantheists. In chapter 5, Jesus kills two thousand pigs, sending the animal rights activist blogosphere into a panic and creating a bacon famine only rivaled by the great Irish potato famine. In chapter 6, Jesus offends some people and apparently needs sensitivity training. In chapter 7, a few religious types have some questions for Jesus, and he cruelly calls them ‘hypocrites’ and goes on a lengthy tirade about them, which seemed very intolerant of their alternative theological lifestyle.’

What exactly does Scripture have to say about teachers like Driscoll???

Jude 1

3    Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.
4    For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.
8    Likewise also these filthy dreamers defile the flesh, despise dominion, and speak evil of dignities.
10    But these speak evil of those things which they know not: but what they know naturally, as brute beasts, in those things they corrupt themselves.
11    Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Core.
12    These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear: clouds they are without water, carried about of winds; trees whose fruit withereth, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots;
13    Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness for ever.
16    These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts; and their mouth speaketh great swelling words, having men’s persons in admiration because of advantage.
17    But, beloved, remember ye the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ;
18    How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts.
19    These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit.

Authors of Confusion Pt. 7 – Tim Keller

The New Calvinists – “Here the comments of a former member of Redeemer Presbyterian Church, New York, Jonathan Cousar, who attended Keller’s church for nearly 20 years, are relevant, for he has heard hundreds of Keller sermons. Cousar writes: “I went to Tim Keller’s church for nearly 20 years and in fact I left just last year because of my growing concern that the church and Tim were far more liberal, theologically and ideologically than I had ever imagined.” Cousar continues: “To sum up Keller’s theology most succinctly, Keller says ‘the primary purpose of salvation is – cultural renewal – to make this world a better place’.  That statement should alarm any true evangelical or conservative Christian.  And it must be understood that this one statement is central to all of Keller’s teachings.” For more information on Tim Keller, click on the provided link entitled “Tim Keller’s false gospel“.

Tim Keller presents himself as a Reformed Calvinist, yet he clearly endorses a different gospel. It is the social gospel. The social gospel is the opposite of the gospel of Jesus Christ, since its goal is not to call sinners to repentance and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, but to bring a cultural, social, and economic reform to the world. In other words, its goal is to make a better world. For this doctrine and agenda to come under the label of Christian, and for Tim Keller to present himself as a teacher and pastor in Christ’ church, is to bring confusion into the church. The outcome will be a “new Christianity“; one that is earth-based & works-based.

Keller’s gospel is rooted in the secular humanistic philosophies of this world. It does not teach Christ’ church to put their focus on things above, but on the things of this world. His approach is both intellectual and philosophical, but it is not Scriptural, nor are his teachings true. Instead, his teachings appeal to those who have an unhealthy appetite for an intellectual, philosophical, articulation of theology. This distracting approach to teaching Christian doctrine draws people away from the true Jesus presented in the Bible, and it draws them away from the true gospel, and into another gospel that is just a counterfeit. Therefore, this author of confusion is a seducing spirit within Christ’ church that must be exposed and avoided.

Colossians 3

1    If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.
2    Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.
3    For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.
4    When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.

Colossians 2

4    And this I say, lest any man should beguile you with enticing words.
5    For though I be absent in the flesh, yet am I with you in the spirit, joying and beholding your order, and the stedfastness of your faith in Christ.
6    As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him:
7    Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.
8    Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.
9    For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.
10    And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power

Authors of Confusion Pt. 6 – The Tragic State of Christian Hip-Hop

The provided link entitled “Reformed Hip Hop rapper Lecrae joins hands with “Word of Faith” starlet Canton Jones” is an article that discusses the recent change in the standards of mainstream Christian Hip-Hop. No longer is Christian Hip-Hop about Jesus Christ and his gospel, since it is now including the partnership with those whose message is the very opposite of the gospel – the love of money, fame, power, and materialism.

This is not the time to contend for Christian Hip-Hop; but the gospel and Jesus Christ. If mainstream Hip-Hop refuses to repent, then we who belong to Christ must turn away from it, since it is now worse than secular music by becoming a false light to the world.

Matthew 6

22    The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.
23    But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness!

They all claim that men are gods and can create their own reality.

They are all apart of the same religion.

It is the universal doctrine of the Occult.

These “Word of Faith” teachers are teaching the ancient doctrine of the serpent; that we can be like God.

Genesis 3

4    Then the serpent said to the woman, “You will not surely die.
5    For God knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.”

They are teaching temptation.

2Corinthians 11
13 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ.
14 And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light.
15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also transform themselves into ministers of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works.

2John 1

8    Look to yourselves, that we do not lose those things we worked for, but that we may receive a full reward.

“I sincerely denounce any action that depicts me as a King”

Credit must be given where credit is due.

Bishop Eddie Long apologizes to the Anti-Defamation League for being wrapped up in a “Holocaust Torah” and crowned king during a recent ceremony at his church in Atlanta Georgia.

Bishop Long has also denounced all attempts to depict him as a king.

For more information, click in the provided link entitled “Atlanta (CNN)“.

This, of course, doesn’t  mean that Bishop Eddie Long is now a follower of Christ, and an orthodox teaching of the gospel, since he has yet to turn away from his false gospel of greed. Nor has he turned away from the Gnostic teachings of the Word of Faith Movement. However, it is still refreshing to witness signs of humility from any televangelist. So let us all take in a breath of fresh air before the next onslaught of pseudo Christian media insanity.

Epitaph

LOS ANGELES –  Whitney Houston, who reigned as pop music’s queen until her majestic voice and regal image were ravaged by drug use, erratic behavior and a tumultuous marriage to singer Bobby Brown, died Saturday night. She was 48. For more information, click on the provided link entitled “Singer Whitney Houston dies at 48“.

Some of Houston’s accomplishments are listed below:

And these are just a few of this great entertainer’s accomplishments. Whitney Houston is indeed the embodiment of the American dream, since her accomplishments are of high value to this world. But what are Houston’s accomplishments worth before Jesus Christ, who will judge the living and the dead for their works? What does God say of this woman who has captured the hearts of many, thus gaining the world as yet another American Idol? What is the “epitaph” of Jesus Christ for Whitney Houston?

Mark 8

35    “For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel’s, the same shall save it.
36    For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?
37    Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?
38    Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.”

Jesus said that Houston saved her life, and refused to obey his gospel that could have saved her soul. And instead, she gained the whole world and lost her soul. Jesus said that Houston was ashamed of him and his teachings, and would rather have the praise of the people of this world who are marked for destruction. Finally, Jesus said that he is ashamed of Whitney Houston and her accomplishments.

Why???

Because Jesus Christ calls everyone to turn from their sins, to stop loving this sinful world, to put their trust in him, and to obey all that he has taught us. Jesus calls mankind to holiness, without which no one will see the Lord and inherit the Kingdom of Heaven. So let this be a warning to you.

1John 2

1    My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:
2    And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.
3    And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.
4    He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
5    But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.
15    Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
16    For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
17    And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.

The desire of most people in the western world is to have religious tolerance of all faiths so that there would be an end to this kind worldwide persecution. This desire is shared by Christians as well. American Christians believe it is the U.S.’s responsibility to uphold religious freedom in the world. The common Christian American view is that the United States is a “city on a hill”, or the example for the world of a superior, though not perfect, government.

America’s military exploits in other countries are usually perceived by it’s citizens as intervention, and even heroic. The typical belief of Americans is that its government is a force for good in the world. And the U.S. media has always been persistent in upholding this perspective. Furthermore, it was the media that has established this perspective.  Therefore, it is no surprise that many American Christians are eager to work with its government to promote religious freedom throughout world.   But is religious freedom the goal of the United States?

And can Christians expect to make a safer environment for their fellows Christians throughout the world?

Here’s what the Bible has to say about the world’s relationship to the church.

John 16

1    These things have I spoken unto you, that ye should not be offended.
2    They shall put you out of the synagogues: yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service.
3    And these things will they do unto you, because they have not known the Father, nor me.

According to Jesus, the world does not want to accept the church, just as it didn’t want to accept him.

Matthew 10

22    And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.
23    But when they persecute you in this city, flee ye into another: for verily I say unto you, Ye shall not have gone over the cities of Israel, till the Son of man be come.
24    The disciple is not above his master, nor the servant above his lord.
25    It is enough for the disciple that he be as his master, and the servant as his lord. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more shall they call them of his household?

1John 4

4    Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.
5    They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them.
6    We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.

The world hates Jesus Christ, and therefore can only be expected to hate the church. The world calls Christ evil and therefore,  it can only be expected to call his church evil. The world does not want to listen to our doctrine because they are not of God. In order to work with the world, the church must become like the world.

How does the church become like the world?

Mathew 4

1    Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil.
2    And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was afterward an hungred.
3    And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread.
4    But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.
5    Then the devil taketh him up into the holy city, and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple,
6    And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.
7    Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.
8    Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them;
9    And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me.
10    Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.

The church becomes like the world through giving into temptation. One temptation is to resist persecution at all costs. It would be naive to think that the world is getting better and that the church can be accepted by the governments of this world. Throughout history that kind of church & government relationship has always resulted in corruption and more church persecution. Therefore, to believe that the American government will produce a different result with it’s partnership with the government is to be fooled by heretical church doctrine, brought in by false teachers, and to be fooled by the propaganda of American media.

For the church to partner with the governments of this world is synonymous with making a deal with the devil, since the god of this world is Satan, whom the church is called to take a stand against. Therefore, America is controlled by Satan. Satan’s desire for the world is not religious freedom for Christians, but Universalism minus Christians. And that is the true desire for America as well.

Ephesians 6

10    Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
11    Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
12    For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
13    Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

Therefore the Christian’s involvement in politics only goes as far as an individual citizen, but not the church as a whole. The church and the world governments are  in disagreement in regards to core values. One serves God, and the other serves Satan. They are opposites, and cannot work together with God’s blessing.

But how does the Hegelian dialect show itself in this matter???

  1. Thesis – International religious freedom is a must for the American Government and it’s Christian citizens. To see an example of the U.S.’s government’s interest in establishing international religious freedom, click in the provided link entitled “International Religious Freedom Act of U.S. Department of State“.
  2. Antithesis – International religious freedom is not a reality in our world. And countless Christians are being tortured and killed for their faith in Jesus.
  3. Synthesis – The church partners with the American government to promote and establish religious freedom throughout the world. The religious “left” and the religious “right” unites with the government to bring about some of the international laws of the New World Order.

The result of this partnership will be tyranny on other countries because America is not a city on a hill, but an international bully that deceives its own citizens into believing that its invasion into other countries are both just and merciful. America’s media has made tyranny look kind.

Proverbs 12

10    A righteous man regardeth the life of his beast: but the tender mercies of the wicked are cruel.

This new world order plan for peace can only result in the international persecution of Christians; the very thing it was intended to put an end to. The proof is in the decline of Christian tolerance in America.
