Authors of Confusion Pt. 10 – T.D. Jakes Confuses the Doctrine of “Orignial Sin”
Pastor, televangelist, and motivational speaker, T.D Jakes, has released his new book entitled, Let it Go, which is causing some controversy, because of its confusing of the doctrine of original sin. The confusion is caused by Jakes’ explanation for the sin of unforgiveness, which is not based upon the teachings of Scripture, but instead, the philosophy of psychology. Psychology has always been noted by Christians for its denial of the reality of right and wrong by explaining concepts of morality as inventions of man’s subjective convictions of right and wrong, and ignoring the reality of a supreme being, who is the author of man’s universal sense of morality and ethics. In short, psychology denies the veracity of God’s universal law, which is taught in Scripture. Therefore, Jakes’ new book will serve to take the minds of his readers further away from the teachings of Scripture, and into the philosophies of the world, which is corrupt, due to its lack of understanding on the topics which they extensively teach on, such as the doctrine of sin.
Jakes’ teaching on the sin of unforgiveness is described below:
“We don’t come here unforgiving. Children are not unforgiving. You can punish them and they will hug you in a few minutes,”
“They can have an altercation with another child and want to go outside and play by lunch time.”
“[people] “come here with a certain propensity to be open, loving, accepting, and trusting. We learn to be unforgiving, doubtful, suspicious, guilt-ridden, and anxious.”
“”When people feel the urge to go against someone, then they should try to go the opposite direction of the emotion,”
“See, we are commanded to forgive [but] we are not commanded to trust. We wouldn’t be commanded to do something we can’t do.”

The biblical teachings on original sin are described within the passages below:
Romans 5
12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:
Psalm 51
5 Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.
Jeremiah 17
9 The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?
10 I the LORD search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings.
Genesis 8
21 …the imagination of man’s heart is evil from his youth
Romans 8
5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.
6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.
8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.
John 8
34 Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin.
Romans 7
14 For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin.
15 For that which I do I allow not: for what I would, that do I not; but what I hate, that do I.
16 If then I do that which I would not, I consent unto the law that it is good.
17 Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.
Jakes’ departure from sound doctrine is not a new issue at all. For the last 20 years, he has been getting rich off of women who thought they were being taught Christianity, when in fact, Jakes was merely appealing to their emotions by teaching them pop-psychology. For the last 10 to 12 years, he has been justifying his millionaire status as a preacher by teaching the heresy of the prosperity gospel. These two doctrines reveal that Jakes is not at all a true teacher of the gospel, but a false teacher (Galatians 1:6-9). This fact is further made evident by Jakes’ life-long adherence to a false teaching on the trinity, because a true teacher of the gospel of Jesus Christ should know exactly who Jesus is by reading the Bible.
Christians should not be led by these media personalities, because of their false teachings on the gospel. Instead, Scripture teaches that people like T.D. Jakes should be identified for the self-severing deceivers that they are, and should be avoided.
Romans 16
17 Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them.
18 For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.
Authors of Confusion Pt. 8 – Mark Driscoll’s “Cultural Relevance”
The Christian World View – “Being “relevant” to your audience is the big buzzword in Evangelical and Emergent churches today. Whether it’s dressing down to look like “one of them” or playing “edgy” music or using Hollywood movies as sermon examples or preaching “30 days of sex with your spouse”, being relevant and “contextualizing” your message is seen to be as important as sound doctrine (if that’s important anymore).
One of the more curious examples of this rush towards relevance is Mark Driscoll, popular author and preaching pastor of Mars Hill Church in Seattle that attracts 7500 attendees to seven church locations each week and who also has an enormous following world-wide. Why Driscoll is a “curious case” is that he describes himself as “Emerging Reformed” which I would define as sort of merging Reformation theology with urban culturalism. So what’s the big deal?” To find out, click on the provided link entitled “When Relevance Becomes Irreverence“
Mark Driscoll is on the conservative side of the Emerging Church Movement. This movement is rooted in heresy, because of its ecumenical theology, which blurs the lines of orthodoxy and heterodoxy; thus placing its adherents on the slippery slope to Universalism – embracing all faiths as a means to salvation. This can be seen in Mark’s recent acceptance of T.D. Jakes, who teaches the false gospel of prosperity, as a true believer, and a biblically sound teacher of the faith. This acceptance also makes Mark Driscoll, not only a deceiver, but an author of confusion, since he publicly exposed the prosperity gospel for the heresy that it is, as seen in this link entitled “Driscoll and the Elephant Room“.
Driscoll is not only a heretic that causes confusion in Christ’ church, but he also promotes lewdness within his sermons, and has even posted a link to a “Christian” sex toy shop on his church’s website, as seen in the provided link entitled “Question #22: Can we use sex toys?“.
If all of this were not bad enough, Driscoll’s blasphemous view of Christ is expressed even further through his irreverent description of Jesus, as depicted in his book entitled Vintage Jesus. Below are excerpts from pages 43&44.
In the first chapter of Mark, Jesus starts off by yelling at complete strangers to repent of their sin, like the wingnuts with billboards who occasionally show up at shopping centers. Shortly thereafter, Jesus orders some guys to quit their jobs and follow him, and before long Jesus is telling a demon to shut up and healing a leper only to tell him to shut up too. In the second chapter, Jesus picks a fight with some well-mannered religious types and does the equivalent of breaking into a church on a Sunday morning to make a sandwich with the communion bread because he was hungry.
In the third chapter, Jesus gets angry and also grieves and apparently needs Praxil. Then he ignores his own mom, which threw Focus on the Hebrew Family into a tizzy, so they quickly issued a position paper renouncing his actions. In the fourth chapter, Jesus rebukes the wind, which caused an uproar with the local pantheists. In chapter 5, Jesus kills two thousand pigs, sending the animal rights activist blogosphere into a panic and creating a bacon famine only rivaled by the great Irish potato famine. In chapter 6, Jesus offends some people and apparently needs sensitivity training. In chapter 7, a few religious types have some questions for Jesus, and he cruelly calls them ‘hypocrites’ and goes on a lengthy tirade about them, which seemed very intolerant of their alternative theological lifestyle.’
What exactly does Scripture have to say about teachers like Driscoll???
Jude 1
3 Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.
4 For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.
8 Likewise also these filthy dreamers defile the flesh, despise dominion, and speak evil of dignities.
10 But these speak evil of those things which they know not: but what they know naturally, as brute beasts, in those things they corrupt themselves.
11 Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Core.
12 These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear: clouds they are without water, carried about of winds; trees whose fruit withereth, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots;
13 Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness for ever.
16 These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts; and their mouth speaketh great swelling words, having men’s persons in admiration because of advantage.
17 But, beloved, remember ye the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ;
18 How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts.
19 These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit.

Authors of Confusion Pt. 7 – Tim Keller
The New Calvinists – “Here the comments of a former member of Redeemer Presbyterian Church, New York, Jonathan Cousar, who attended Keller’s church for nearly 20 years, are relevant, for he has heard hundreds of Keller sermons. Cousar writes: “I went to Tim Keller’s church for nearly 20 years and in fact I left just last year because of my growing concern that the church and Tim were far more liberal, theologically and ideologically than I had ever imagined.” Cousar continues: “To sum up Keller’s theology most succinctly, Keller says ‘the primary purpose of salvation is – cultural renewal – to make this world a better place’. That statement should alarm any true evangelical or conservative Christian. And it must be understood that this one statement is central to all of Keller’s teachings.” For more information on Tim Keller, click on the provided link entitled “Tim Keller’s false gospel“.
Tim Keller presents himself as a Reformed Calvinist, yet he clearly endorses a different gospel. It is the social gospel. The social gospel is the opposite of the gospel of Jesus Christ, since its goal is not to call sinners to repentance and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, but to bring a cultural, social, and economic reform to the world. In other words, its goal is to make a better world. For this doctrine and agenda to come under the label of Christian, and for Tim Keller to present himself as a teacher and pastor in Christ’ church, is to bring confusion into the church. The outcome will be a “new Christianity“; one that is earth-based & works-based.
Keller’s gospel is rooted in the secular humanistic philosophies of this world. It does not teach Christ’ church to put their focus on things above, but on the things of this world. His approach is both intellectual and philosophical, but it is not Scriptural, nor are his teachings true. Instead, his teachings appeal to those who have an unhealthy appetite for an intellectual, philosophical, articulation of theology. This distracting approach to teaching Christian doctrine draws people away from the true Jesus presented in the Bible, and it draws them away from the true gospel, and into another gospel that is just a counterfeit. Therefore, this author of confusion is a seducing spirit within Christ’ church that must be exposed and avoided.
Colossians 3
1 If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.
2 Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.
3 For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.
4 When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.
Colossians 2
4 And this I say, lest any man should beguile you with enticing words.
5 For though I be absent in the flesh, yet am I with you in the spirit, joying and beholding your order, and the stedfastness of your faith in Christ.
6 As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him:
7 Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.
8 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.
9 For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.
10 And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power
Legacy of the Philosopher Kings
The provided link entitled “The Roots of Evolution” is a lecture on the history of the ancient myths that were passed down throughout human history which is now promoted by Speculative Freemasonry. The lecture shows the common belief system of the ancient philosophers, who shaped society throughout human history. Within these belief systems is the theory of evolution, which was wrongly attributed to Charles Darwin.
The Age of Enlightenment was established by Speculative Freemasonry, which at the time had recently gained control of western civilization. And the god of Freemasonry is Lucifer, as stated by various Freemasons, such as Albert Pike, Manly P. Hall and Albert Mackey. Therefore, the Age of Enlightenment was rooted in satanic doctrine. That accounts for the pseudo science of evolution as well since it is more of the same ancient pagan doctrine that mankind has always been following.
The religion of Freemasonry is Gnosticism. Gnosticism has always been opposed to the truth of Scripture. Furthermore, the ancient pagan religions of the world were founded upon the principals of Gnosticism, such as nature is god, mankind is evolving into godhood, man’s own effort to learn the mysteries of the universe will save/deify him…etc.
The belief systems of Gnosticism are built upon lies. These lies must be exposed for what they are so that people will understand the mass deception they are following and turn to the true God.
2Corinthians 10
3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:
4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)
5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;
John 8
12 I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.
1John 5
19 And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness.
20 And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.
Ephesians 6
10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
24 Grace be with all them that love our Lord Jesus Christ in sincerity. Amen.

Is the World Full of Evil?
Is the World Full of Evil?
According to Scripture…
Romans 5
12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned
Romans 1
18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;
19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.
20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,
23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.
24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:

25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.

26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:

27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another;
men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.

28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;

29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,

30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,
31 Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:

32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.
Romans 3
10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:
11 There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God.
12 They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.
13 Their throat is an open sepulchre; with their tongues they have used deceit; the poison of asps is under their lips:
14 Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness:

15 Their feet are swift to shed blood:
16 Destruction and misery are in their ways:
17 And the way of peace have they not known:
18 There is no fear of God before their eyes.
John 8
12 Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.
24 I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.
30 As he spake these words, many believed on him.
31 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;
32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
34 Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin.
35 And the servant abideth not in the house for ever: but the Son abideth ever.
36 If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.

1John 2
2 And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.
3 And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.
4 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
5 But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.
