Test All Things Pt. 2 – Homosexuality & Salvation

The latest interviews by Rick Warren, as shown in this article entitled “Rick Warren Uncertain if Homosexual Behavior is Sinful, Says ‘Gays’ Go to Heaven“, reveals the growing confusion over the issue of homosexuality, sin, and salvation. As stated in the article, Warren isn’t the only one spreading this confusion, but other mainstream Christian media personalities are guilty of promoting this confusion as well. This is because of their statement in the media that can lead many into asking, “Is homosexuality a sin?”, “Can practicing homosexuals inherit eternal life?”, and “Is it a sin to have same sex attractions?” These Christian media personalities, who claim to be ministers of the gospel of salvation, reveal their bad fruit by their poor affirmation of the gospel. Yet, there are others who affirm the truth on this controversial topic, as is also stated in the article.

To set the record straight concerning what the Bible has to say about these questions, the following Scriptures has been stated below.

Is homosexuality a sin?

Scripture describes homosexuality as uncleanness, vile affections, and an error of man’s, lustful, reprobate (immoral), minds, which God has handed mankind over to because of man’s refusal to acknowledge, and worship, the true God, whom they replaced with mere idols. Therefore, homosexuality is one of the judgments of God upon mankind for their sin of idolatry (Exodus 20:3-6). Therefore, if people are born homosexuals, it is only an affirmation of God’s judgment upon mankind, and it could in no way validate homosexual desires, because God is love, and love “does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth” (1John 4:8 & 1Corinthians 13:6). Instead, people are born sinners, because “one man’s [who is Adam] disobedience many were made sinners” (Romans 5:19). Furthermore, love does not tempt others to sin, in the name of love, because the act of true love is to “love God, and keep His commandments. For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments.” And Jesus said, “If you love Me, keep My commandments”, and Jesus’ command to mankind is to “Repent [turn from sin], and believe in the gospel”.

Romans 1

21   Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
22   Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,
23   And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.
24   Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:
25   Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.

Can practicing homosexuals inherit eternal life?

Jesus’ command, to mankind, is to turn from sin, and to believe in the gospel of Jesus Christ, which can save all sinners, who are willing to humble themselves before God, and confess their life-style as sinful, bringing their sinful deeds to the light of God’s truth, and turning away from their sins to believe, and obey, the gospel of Christ; while those who reject Christ remains in the darkness of their sin, which they love more than the truth of Christ’s sacrifice for their forgiveness, and freedom from sin, and God’s judgment (Mark 1:15, John 3:14-21).

1Corinthians 6

9   Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites,
10   nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God.
11   And such were some of you. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God.

Hebrews 10

26   For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,

Is it a sin to have same sex attractions?

Jesus reveals that those who look on some one with lustful desires is guilty of the sin of sexual immorality. Furthermore, Scripture teaches that the thoughts of a person reveals their true self, and God will not hear the prayers of one who’s heart is set on evil.

Therefore, the only hope for mankind is the same hope that Jesus described to Nicodemus, saying “Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God…Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God…Ye must be born again” (John 3:3-7). Also, those who are born of God, by the preaching of the gospel, and by the Holy Spirit, may struggle with sinful thoughts, and desires, but they have God’s grace to free them from the bondage of sin, as they grow in their knowledge of the gospel, and their obedience to it, because the word of God is powerful, and it transforms their minds, and character, into the character, and mind, of Christ(Romans 12:1-2, Galatians 5:16-25).

There appeared to be three basic reasons for the loss of uniformity within the Christian community. 1) Biblical Illiteracy 2) A theology that limits God to love only 3) Lack of understanding of the gospel. As this became clear to me I was compelled to build. But what would I build? I would build an institute that would seek to regain what Christianity has lost. I would build a forum of which the unasked questions of Christianity could be asked and answered by the one who answers all questions…God! To do this God must be put back into the Christian conversation. His word must rule the life of the Christian.

It is the mission of real talk radio to lead the way in the restoration of Christianity back to the truth of the word of God and to restore biblical literacy to Gods people.

An electronic surveillance program, whose actual name is currently unknown, was implemented by the National Security Agency (NSA) of the United States in the wake of the September 11, 2001, attacks. It was part of the president’s Surveillance Program, which was in turn conducted under the overall umbrella of the War on Terrorism. The NSA, a signals intelligence agency, implemented the program to intercept al Qaeda communications overseas where at least one party is not a U.S. person. In 2005 the New York Times disclosed that technical glitches resulted in some of the intercepts including communications were “purely domestic” in nature, igniting the NSA warrantless surveillance controversy. ^[1] Later works, such as James Bamford‘s The Shadow Factory, would describe how the nature of the domestic surveillance was much, much more widespread than initially disclosed. In a 2011 New Yorker article, former NSA employee Bill Binney said that his colleagues told him that the NSA had begun storing billing and phone records from “everyone in the country.”^[2]

“‘Everyone in US under virtual surveillance’ – NSA whistleblower“

The FBI records the emails of nearly all US citizens, including members of congress, according to NSA whistleblower William Binney. In an interview with RT, he warned that the government can use this information against anyone.

Binney, one of the best mathematicians and code breakers in the history of the National Security Agency, resigned in 2001. He claimed he no longer wanted to be associated with alleged violations of the Constitution, such as how the FBI engages in widespread and pervasive surveillance through powerful devices called ‘Naris.’

This year, Binney received the Callaway award, an annual prize that recognizes those who champion constitutional rights and American values at great risk to their personal or professional lives.

RT: In light of the Petraeus/Allen scandal while the public is so focused on the details of their family drama, one may argue that the real scandal in this whole story is the power, the reach of the surveillance state. I mean if we take General Allen – thousands of his personal e-mails have been sifted through private correspondence. It’s not like any of those men was planning an attack on America. Does the scandal prove the notion that there is no such thing as privacy in a surveillance state?

William Binney: Yes, that’s what I’ve been basically saying for quite some time, is that the FBI has access to the data collected, which is basically the emails of virtually everybody in the country. And the FBI has access to it. All the congressional members are on the surveillance too, no one is excluded. They are all included. So, yes, this can happen to anyone. If they become a target for whatever reason – they are targeted by the government, the government can go in, or the FBI, or other agencies of the government, they can go into their database, pull all that data collected on them over the years, and we analyze it all. So, we have to actively analyze everything they’ve done for the last 10 years at least.

RT: And it’s not just about those, who could be planning, who could be a threat to national security, but also those, who could be just…

WB: It’s everybody. The Naris device, if it takes in the entire line, so it takes in all the data. In fact they advertised they can process the lines at session rates, which means 10-gigabit lines. I forgot the name of the device (it’s not the Naris) – the other one does it at 10 gigabits. That’s why they’re building Buffdale [database facility], because they have to have more storage, because they can’t figure out what’s important, so they are just storing everything there. So, emails are going to be stored there in the future, but right now stored in different places around the country. But it is being collected – and the FBI has access to it.

RT: You mean it’s being collected in bulk without even requesting providers?

WB: Yes.

RT: Then what about Google, you know, releasing this biannual transparency report and saying that the government’s demands for personal data is at an all-time high and for all of those requesting the US, Google says they complied with the government’s demands 90 percent of the time. But they are still saying that they are making the request, it’s not like it’s all being funneled into that storage. What do you say to that?

WB: I would assume that it’s just simply another source for the same data they are already collecting. My line is in declarations in a court about the 18-T facility in San Francisco, that documented the NSA room inside that AST&T facility, where they had Naris devices to collect data off the fiber optic lines inside the United States. So, that’s kind of a powerful device, that would collect everything it was being sent. It could collect on the order over of 100 billion 1,000-character emails a day. One device.

RT: You say they sift through billions of e-mails. I wonder how do they prioritize? How do they filter it?

WB: I don’t think they are filtering it. They are just storing it. I think it’s just a matter of selecting when they want it. So, if they want to target you, they would take your attributes, go into that database and pull out all your data.

RT: Were you on the target list?

WB: Oh, sure! I believe I’ve been on it for quite a few years. So I keep telling them everything I think of them in my email. So that when they want to read it they’ll understand what I think of them.

RT: Do you think we all should leave messages for the NSA mail box?

WB: Sure!

RT: You blew the whistle on the agency when George W. Bush was the president. With President Obama in office, in your opinion, has anything changed at the agency, in the surveillance program? In what direction is this administration moving?

WB: The change is it’s getting worse. They are doing more. He is supporting the building of the Buffdale facility, which is over two billion dollars they are spending on storage room for data. That means that they are collecting a lot more now and need more storage for it. That facility by my calculations that I submitted to the court for the Electronic Frontiers Foundation against NSA would hold on the order of 5 zettabytes of data. Just that current storage capacity is being advertised on the web that you can buy. And that’s not talking about what they have in the near future.

RT: What are they going to do with all of that? Ok, they are storing something. Why should anybody be concerned?

WB: If you ever get on the enemies list, like Petraeus did or… for whatever reason, than you can be drained into that surveillance.

RT: Do you think they would… General Petraeus, who was idolized by the same administration? Or General Allen?

WB: There are certainly some questions, that have to be asked, like why would they target it to begin with? What law were they breaking?

RT: In case of General Petraeus one would argue that there could have been security breaches. Something like that. But with General Allen – I don’t quite understand, because when they were looking into his private emails to this woman.

WB: That’s the whole point. I am not sure what the internal politics is… That’s part of the program. This government doesn’t want things in the public. It’s not a transparent government. Whatever the reason or the motivation was, I don’t really know, but I certainly think that there was something going on in the background that made them target those fellows. Otherwise why would they be doing it? There is no crime there.

RT: It seems that the public is divided between those, who think that the government surveillance program violates their civil liberties, and those who say, ‘I’ve nothing to hide. So, why should I care?’ What do you say to those who think that it shouldnt concern them.

WB: The problem is if they think they are not doing anything that’s wrong, they don’t get to define that. The central government does, the central government defines what is right and wrong and whether or not they target you. So, it’s not up to the individuals. Even if they think they aren’t doing something wrong, if their position on something is against what the administration has, then they could easily become a target.

RT: Tell me about the most outrageous thing that you came across during your work at the NSA.

WB: The violations of the constitution and any number of laws that existed at the time. That was the part that I could not be associated with. That’s why I left. They were building social networks on who is communicating and with whom inside this country. So that the entire social network of everybody, of every US citizen was being compiled overtime. So, they are taking from one company alone roughly 320 million records a day. That’s probably accumulated probably close to 20 trillion over the years.

The original program that we put together to handle this to be able to identify terrorists anywhere in the world and alert anyone that they were in jeopardy. We would have been able to do that by encrypting everybody’s communications except those who were targets. So, in essence you would protect their identities and the information about them until you could develop probable cause, and once you showed your probable cause, then you could do a decrypt and target them. And we could do that and isolate those people all alone. It wasn’t a problem at all. There was no difficulty in that.

RT: It sounds very difficult and very complicated. Easier to take everything in and…

WB: No. It’s easier to use the graphing techniques, if you will, for the relationships for the world to filter out data, so that you don’t have to handle all that data. And it doesn’t burden you with a lot more information to look at, than you really need to solve the problem.

RT: Do you think that the agency doesn’t have the filters now?

WB: No.

RT: You have received the Callaway award for civic courage. Congratulations! On the website and in the press release it says: “It is awarded to those, who stand out for constitutional rights and American values at great risk to their personal or professional lives.” Under the code of spy ethics – I don’t know if there is such a thing – your former colleagues, they probably look upon you as a traitor. How do you look back at them?

WB: That’s pretty easy. They are violating the foundation of this entire country. Why this entire government was formed? It’s founded with the Constitution and the rights were given to the people in the country under that Constitution. They are in violation of that. And under executive order 13526, section 1.7 – you can not classify information to just cover up a crime, which this is, and that was signed by President Obama. Also President Bush signed it earlier as an executive order, a very similar one. If any of this comes into Supreme Court and they rule it unconstitutional, then the entire house of cards of the government falls.

RT: What are the chances of that? What are the odds?

WB: The government is doing the best they can to try to keep it out of court. And, of course, we are trying to do the best we can to get into court. So, we decided it deserves a ruling from the Supreme Court. Ultimately the court is supposed to protect the Constitution. All these people in the government take an oath to defend the Constitution. And they are not living up to the oath of office.

Worldview Weekend’s Commentary on Censorship of Christmas & Promotion of False Teachers

Topic: What is more offensive to you; secular companies that take Christ out of Christmas, or self-professing Christians promoting false teachers that are promoting a false Jesus and false gospel? American Family Association recently released their naughty and nice list of companies that do and do not acknowledge Christmas. However, is this really nothing more than straining at gnats while swallowing camels? AFA/AFR interviewed false teacher Heidi Baker this past year on their radio network and have worked with the likes of Lou Engle and the International House of Prayer. Should Christians be more concerned about secular companies taking Christ out of Christmas or self-professing Christian and pro-family groups giving credibility to people that have taken the Biblical Christ out of Christianity? Chris asked a very important question during this program—-how many people are going to enter hell for not saying “Merry Christmas”? None! How many will go to hell because they embraced a false Jesus and a false gospel proclaimed by false teachers? The answer is millions and millions. The “war on Christmas” by unbelievers should not be our ultimate concern compared to the war on the Biblical gospel and the Biblical Jesus by modern-day evangelicalism. Authors of Confusion Pt. 23 – Jordan Maxwell & other Esoteric Pseudo-Scholars

Jordan Maxwell is a student of Madam H. P. Blavatsky, by way of his in-depth study of her esoteric writings. Maxwell, and many others like him, has been sharing her teachings with the world through the internet, television, and radio. However, Blavatsky isn’t, at all, a credible source for learning about history, the Bible, or even mythology, because many of her claims cannot be verified as factual. Nevertheless, Maxwell, and many others, have been spreading false, and ridiculous, information as though it were truth. In doing so, they are making fools out of their listeners with each absurd claim that they make. Of course, this doesn’t mean that everything that they teach is wrong, but it does mean that they are causing people to think wrongly about history, mythology, and the Bible, for no good reason.

One may wonder why people are listening to these ridiculous, false, teachers. It can be attributed to the dumbing down of society through education and the media. It can even be linked to the love for tabloid information. However, Scripture, which is God’s authoritative truth, provides light on this issue that shows that the love for these false teachers, who will teach people not to believe God’s word, is actually related to the sinful heart of man, and God’s judgment on a world that rejects him as the true, and only God, and also rejects the gospel of his Son, Jesus Christ. According to Scripture, it is for this rejection that God hands mankind over to false teachers, great deception, and causes them to be without understanding of the truth.

Matthew 6

22 The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.
23 But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness!

Romans 1

28   And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
29   Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,

God’s word is true, and the gospel of Jesus Christ is true. But if it is rejected, then darkness must be the new light of the world, and it will lead those, who are illuminated by it, into Hell.

Religious Intolerance & Blasphemy laws Pt. 13 – Pakistani Court Ordered Police to Withdraw Blasphemy Charges Against Christian Girl

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan — A Pakistani court ordered the police to withdraw blasphemy charges against a Christian teenager on Tuesday, lawyers said, bringing an end to a contentious case that had gripped the country and sown fear in its Christian minority population.

The girl, Rimsha Masih, who comes from an impoverished family of sweepers, was arrested in August after Muslim accusers said she had been holding a burned copy of the Noorani Qaida, a religious textbook used to teach the Koran to children.

Relatives and human rights workers have said that the girl, 14, has Down syndrome and should therefore be exempt from the blasphemy laws.

On Tuesday, Justice Iqbal Hameed ur Rahman, who heads the Islamabad High Court, stated in his judgment that there was no evidence for the charges against Ms. Masih. In his 15-page judgment, he urged extreme caution in matters related to blasphemy and criticized the practice of fake blasphemy accusations against non-Muslims.

“The case against Rimsha Masih is finished,” said Tahir Naveed Chaudhry, one of her lawyers. “Justice has been served.”

A school district in Maine is apologizing after middle school students learned about homosexual foreplay during what was supposed to be a “Diversity Day” presentation.

“I don’t want my child taught heterosexual foreplay, let alone homosexual foreplay,” outraged parent Kristy Howard told Fox News.

The principal of Gorham Middle School sent a letter to parents apologizing for the graphic nature of the presentation by PRYSM, Proud Rainbow Youth of Southern Maine.

“They went beyond the scope of our intentions and discussed topics that we do not deem appropriate for our middle school,” Robert Riley wrote in a letter obtained by The American Journal. “We do not intend to expose them to ideas that are not within the scope of our teaching about responsible citizenship as it is embedded in our code of conduct.”

The incident occurred two weeks before the state voted to approve gay marriage – and involved a classroom of 25 eighth graders.

Howard’s 13-year-old son was one of those who came home shocked by the presentation’s graphic nature.

“They were talking about sex and if you didn’t have a condom – saran wrap could be used in place of a dental dam,” Howard told Fox News. “It was all new to me.”

Howard said the PRYSM presenters also cursed and questioned whether the children had been taught about safe homosexual sex.
