Franciscan Friar Accuses Teens of Preying on Innocent Priests

The Huffington Post – “In a recent interview with the National Catholic Register, Father Benedict Groeschel, of the conservative Franciscan Friars of the Renewal, said that teens act as seducers in some sexual abuse cases involving priests.

‘People have this picture in their minds of a person planning to — a psychopath,” Groeschel said. “But that’s not the case. Suppose you have a man having a nervous breakdown, and a youngster comes after him. A lot of the cases, the youngster — 14, 16, 18 — is the seducer.'”

World View Weekend Radio – “Elijahlist.com promotes an article on increasing body frequencies with essential oils. Brannon explains why he believes this is nothing more than Word of Faith theology meets New Age teachings. While it may not surprise many that Word of Faith theology proponents would embrace New Age teachings, would it surprise you if �evangelicals� embraced New Age Teachings or allowed New Age teachings to be presented at a �Christian� college or university? Brannon plays New Age Mormon Glenn Beck proclaiming New Age teachings during a 2010 commencement address at Liberty University. How did the football stadium full of �Christians� respond to Beck�s New Age spirituality? Did Christians walk out or sit in silence in disapproval or did Beck receive cheers and a standing ovation? Topic: Brannon looks at 2 Timothy that calls for Christians to �suffer hardship�as a good soldier of Christ Jesus.� While evangelicals are setting aside theology and compromising the gospel in order to �reclaim the country�, Brannon details how under persecution, and through upholding the gospel, Christians in China grew from 700,000 to between 30 million and 100 million. Topic: Brannon shares the testimony of faithful men such as Andrew Melville, John Wesley, and George Whitefield that reached untold numbers for Jesus Christ but did so while not spiritually partnering with the world or compromising the gospel. The link entitled “A Quantum Change“, Kari Browning gives her false prophecy about God changing the church’s expression, and understanding, of Christianity in one generation, and that the church will be introduced to the “quantum realm”.

God has promised that He will change the understanding and expression of Christianity in one generation. I believe we are that generation, and the way that unbelievers perceive the Church will radically change in the next few years. There is great understanding coming to the Church about the quantum realm, and I believe it will help facilitate the change that has been prophesied. ~ Kari Browning

War on Consciousness Pt. 6 – “Purchasing by Politics”

What causes people to purchase by politics is when CEO’s begin to voice their political and moral views to the public. Especially when the views they express are some of the most controversial topics in the country that serves as add fuel to the ongoing struggle of conservatives against liberals. This is social engineering at work. Its purpose is to harvest the population of the country into political groups that will fight against each other through the process of political campaigning.

The problem with social engineering is its invasion of the church, through corrupt pastors, and pseudo Christian media personalities, such as Glenn Beck, David Barton, Pat Robertson, Al Sharpton, James Robison,  and many others, who promote a false gospel that claims that Jesus wants his church to reclaim the country in his name. Click on the provided links to learn more – “Evangelicals Hosting Ecumenical Conference in Conjunction With Glenn Beck Event” This is the social gospel that does not bring peoples’ attention to their need to be reconciled to God, and saved from the wrath of God. Instead, it deceives people into thinking that this world is theirs to have, that they can make this world better in Christ’s name, and that Christ is not going to judge the world in righteousness, and destroy this world’s system, or at least cause them to forget that he will. The social gospel leads people away from Christ, and encourages them to love this world’s system. It teaches people that they can claim the world and not lose their soul, and that God wants them to have life, liberty, and happiness. These are all lies and deception, and they are for the purpose of redefining the gospel, so that Christians will rally behind, social gospel, false Christian leaders, who will tell them who to vote for.

The Christian conservatives are being led astray by the social gospel. One of the many proofs of their state of deception is their new found love for “Chick Fil A”, and it’s founder, who recently has joined their ongoing war against the liberal agenda to change the nation’s definition of marriage. This love for Chick Fil A is not based upon the founder’s love for Jesus Christ, and his gospel of salvation. Instead, Christian conservatives’ love for Chick Fil A is totally based upon their moral views of what the country should permit as good, wholesome, and legal, behavior. This is because the social gospel of conservatives has nothing to do with gospel of Jesus Christ, that affirms that all (conservatives & liberals) are guilty before God, and are headed for Hell. Instead, the social gospel of conservatives has everything to do with control of the country, just like the liberals. They are the modern day Pharisees and Sadducees.The prayer of both parties is not “Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done”, but “My kingdom Come. My will be done”. If conservative Christians desired God’s will, then they would prove it, by not falling prey to joining social wars that has nothing to do with God’s desire for people to be saved, and are actually a barrier to proclaiming the gospel. They would not flock to Chick Fil A, as though God had anything to do with Mike Huckabee’s call for the supporting of a major food chain, as though it were a Christian martyr, laying down it’s life for the gospel.

Furthermore, if Christian conservatives desired to do the will of Jesus Christ, they would focus on evangelism, and they would refuse to partner with Mormons, Roman Catholics, and Word of faith teachers who share the same political interests as them. They would also love homosexuals, and reach out to them with the gospel, so that they would repent, believe the gospel, and be saved; Instead of fighting against them, as though they were enemies.

The politics of the social gospel, is a barrier to the proclamation of the gospel. Social engineering has bought the souls of Christian conservatives, by tempting them with offers that they couldn’t refuse. Therefore, the only reason that people are “purchasing by politics”, is because they are now pawns in the game of politics.

Authors of Confusion Pt. 14 – John Piper

What makes John Piper one of the many authors of confusion is his willingness to partner with heretics, and affirm them as orthodox; thus handing many of his follows over to wolves who will lead them into the false gospel of easy-believism, and the social gospel, which cannot save anyone from the wrath of God, and the heretical practices of mysticism, which introduce people to a counterfeit Holy Spirit that leads them away from Christ, and his gospel, and into the lewdness of heretics.

All of this can be seen by Pipers partnership with, and endorsement of, the following heretics:

  1. Rick Warren, who promotes mysticism, easy-believism, the social gospel, and even the “new world order” through humanitarianism and philanthropy. Click on the provided link entitled “Piper Warren interview” to learn more.

  2. Beth Moore, who is a mystic, who claims to have visions from God about the church uniting with every Christian denomination, and even including Roman Catholicism within her list of Christian denominations. Click on the  provided link entitled “BETH MOORE AND JOHN PIPER”  & “God Shows Beth Moore A Vision Of The Church In The Dimension Jesus Sees It” to learn more.

  3. Mark Driscoll, who blasphemes Jesus Christ, promotes the drinking of alcohol among Christians, indulges in blaspheming the Holy Spirit by claiming to have pornographic visions from God, introduces Christians to a sex toy shop on his church’s website, and leads his congregation into mystical practices. Piper also promotes the heresy of “Christian Hedonism” as seen in these two links entitled “We Want You to Be a Christian Hedonist!” & “John Piper – What is Christian Hedonism?“.

In the article entitled, “We Want You to be a Christian Hedonist”, Piper makes claims that contradicts the essentials of the faith as taught in Scripture. The claims are listed below:

  1. “God is most glorified in us when we are most satisfied in him.” – The Bible does not teach this. Instead, it teaches this…”Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven (Matthew 5:16).” & “But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light: Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy (1Peter 2:9-10).”

  2. “The desire to be happy is a proper motive for every good deed…” – The Bible does not teach this. Instead, it teaches this…”If ye love me, keep my commandments (J0hn 14:15).” & “…the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead: And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again (2Corinthians 5:14-15).” Therefore, the proper motive for doing good works is that of love for, and gratefulness to, Jesus Christ, who gave his life so that we could be saved from the wrath of God. Here is another motive for doing what is right…”Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates (2Corinthians 13:5)?” & “And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments (1John 2:3).” Therefore, we also do good works for the sake of being sure that we belong to God, and are not false converts.

  3. “…if you abandon the pursuit of your own joy you cannot love man or please God.” – The Bible does not teach this. Instead, it teaches this…”If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple. And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple (Luke 14:26-27).” & “So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be my disciple. (Luke 14:33)” & “If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it. For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul (Matthew 16:24-26)?” The Bible also gives us this warning…”Brethren, be followers together of me, and mark them which walk so as ye have us for an ensample.For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ: Whose end is destruction, ***whose God is their belly***, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things (Philippians 3:17-19).” & “This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, ***blasphemers***, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, ***lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God***; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: ***from such turn away*** (2Timothy 3:1-5).” Therefore, loving God is not at all loving one’s own pleasure, nor is loving God pleasure seeking. Also, “Love…does not seek its own…(1Corinthians 13:5)”.

The article is full of these kind of deceptive statements, which contradict Scripture, and the essentials of the gospel. These kind of  statements can also be found in the video clip entitled “John Piper – What is Christian Hedonism?”, and they are listed below:

  1. “God serves us. We don’t have to be his servants. I like that” – The Bible does not teach this. Instead, it teaches this…”Ye call me Master and Lord: and ye say well; for so I am. If I then, your Lord and Master, have washed your feet; ye also ought to wash one another’s feet. For I have given you an example, that ye should do as I have done to you. Verily, verily, I say unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord; neither he that is sent greater than he that sent him. If ye know these things, happy are ye if ye do them (John 13:13-17).” & “Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh. Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season? Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing. Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods. But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming; And shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken; The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of, And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth (Matthew 24:44-51).” & “Let not him that eateth despise him that eateth not; and let not him which eateth not judge him that eateth: for God hath received him. Who art thou that judgest another man’s servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand (Romans 14:3-4).” & “Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another; Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; ***serving the Lord*** (Romans 12:10-11)”.

  2. “I don’t lift his burdens. He lifts my burdens” – “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light (Matthew 11:28-30). Therefore, believers are commanded to stop carrying their own burdens, and to, instead, carry God’s burden, which is to love others, and to proclaim the gospel to everyone.

After making these statements, he contradicts himself, and says that “God himself is our joy”, and “he does not work for us”. This is confusion. Furthermore, their is no need to teach hedonism for any reason. Believers can be sufficiently built up in their faith without these heretical claims. All that this heresy of Christian Hedonism serves to do is to stir up strifes concerning the essentials of the faith, and for no good reason.

Piper has persisted in making major offenses concerning the faith by his partnership with heretics (1John 2:8-11), and with his false gospel of hedonism (Galatians 1:8-9, Galatians 5:8-9). Scripture gives of his warning, and command, about those who do so…

17    Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them.
18    For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.
19    For your obedience is come abroad unto all men. I am glad therefore on your behalf: but yet I would have you wise unto that which is good, and simple concerning evil (Matthew 7:18).
