And those who love it will eat its fruit

Charlie Kirk, a conservative activist and Christian Nationalist, known for promoting Anti-Black sentiment, who seemed to never hear about an Anti-Black hate crime he didn’t approve of, has been assassinated on September 10th this week. He was a husband and father of two children who spent his last words speaking on Black-on-Black gang violence.
This man spoke against many people, but mainly Black Americans. He went to college campuses to debate young, impressionable, college students to fuel Anti-Black hate in the hearts of America’s youth. The very type of mission that can fuel more Anti-Black hate crimes.
In late 2023 and early 2024, this conservative activist Charlie Kirk was highly critical of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr, calling him “awful” and “not a good person”. He even claimed that the murder of Goerge Floyd was not caused by, former police officer, Derek Chauvin but fentanyl, regardless of the murder being caught on video and seen by the world, many times, repeatedly.
This sort of life of hatred and lying, while claiming to be Christ’s follower requires an answer from Heaven, because God, who is holy, is a God of justice. Kirk was a hypocrite, who lived by the works of the flesh and not holiness. According to Scripture, this man, and those like him, could in no way enter the kingdom of God. Therefore, he is in Hell. The tragedy of it all is that Kirk and people like him are surrounded by a community who claim to be Christians but will not tell the racists in their community the truth of their Hell-bound state. Kirk was a liar surrounded by cowards, who was willing to have the name of Christ blasphemed by way of Kirk’s wicked behavior as a Christian. Their elders do not hold fast to the faithful word as they were taught, in order to, by sound doctrine, both to exhort and convict those who contradict the way of righteousness. These poor examples of Christians and their cowardly, refusal to forewarn the racists in their community will earn them their place in the Lake of Fire a long with these hateful liars because they feared them more than God.
Unlike Kirk’s false assessment of the cause of George Floyd’s death, it can truthfully be said that Kirk’s death was a result of the hate which he promoted and ultimately caught up with him rather than a mere gunshot. As the Lord Jesus, himself, said, “…by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned” and, “There is nothing that enters a man from outside which can defile him; but the things which come out of him, those are the things that defile a man” and again, “…for every idle word men may speak, they will give account of it in the day of judgment.” Indeed, Kirk made enemies for himself within the pool of snakes that he swam in with reckless abandon and one of them bit. He understood that life and death is in the power of the tongue, and he loved to eat its fruit. Perhaps he thought the fruit would only poison others while he would be the exception.
God alone determines who will be the exception; those are the ones who wash their robes in the blood of the Lamb and worship him in Spirit and in truth. These are the ones who pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord. But to the wicked God says: ” What right have you to declare My statutes, or take My covenant in your mouth, seeing you hate instruction and cast My words behind you? When you saw a thief, you consented with him… These things you have done, and I kept silent; You thought that I was altogether like you; But I will rebuke you, And set them in order before your eyes. “Now consider this, you who forget God, Lest I tear you in pieces, And there be none to deliver: Whoever offers praise glorifies Me; And to him who orders his conduct aright I will show the salvation of God (Psalm 50:16-17, 21-23).”
As for Christians who foolishly held their tongue from rebuking racists like Kirk, Scripture tells you, “Beware, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief in departing from the living God; but exhort one another daily, while it is called ‘Today,’ lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin. For we have become partakers of Christ if we hold the beginning of our confidence steadfast to the end, while it is said: ‘Today, if you will hear His voice, Do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion (Hebrews 3:12-15).’” And, “…whoever is ashamed of Me and My words in this adulterous and sinful generation, of him the Son of Man also will be ashamed when He comes in the glory of His Father with the holy angels (Mark 8:28).” You are not allowed to tolerate wicked people in your assembly. On the contrary, you must rebuke and exhort them.
It was your responsibility to restrain Kirk’s war against flesh and blood by way of his hateful rhetoric and make him, by sound doctrine, to understand that his fight should be against the principalities and powers in the heavens; against the evil rulers of darkness in the realm of the spirit, because that is the war authorized by God for his people to fight. Not advocating for guns that can only kill the very sinners which Christ came save. And why do you fail to convince, rebuke and exhort these racists, with all longsuffering and teaching? Because you are spiritually poor, blind, miserable and naked. You are the five foolish, lukewarm, virgins who have not kept oil in your lamps. Be zealous and repent, because you are not ready for the judgment coming on this country and world, that you may stand for righteousness in the day of evil, just as Charlie Kirk was not ready to meet his maker.
